Used for bio-fuel for a trangia. The design of the pouring spout is effective, no spillage.

Great fuel bottle, just perfect for the job it's strong enough to take a bash or two.

What a great product. I have 3 of these now, although this is my first green version. I think they're great value for money. If you need to store spirit fuel, I can't think of a better way of doing it. They're not heavy, don't leak and the design of the valve provides a confidence that you're storing the spirit safely.Although my bottle is the 1 litre size, it doesn't quite hold 1 litre of fuel if you keep the contents below the 'max line'. Maybe 0.8 or 0.9 litres is possible though.The bottle itself is made of high density Polyethylene and I couldn't see any reference to it being made of aluminium in the description, so I don't know why someone would down grade it for not being so.The safety valve is a two stage process. The black cap on top is twistable. Turn it anti-clockwise to open the valve. Then, when you're ready to dispense, simply push the cap down to release the fuel. When you release the cap, the fuel flow stops. The funnel is bi-directional, so either end will dispense the fuel (the other end then acting as a vent to allow smooth operation). Turn the cap clockwise to then completely seal the fuel in the bottle. This will allow the bottle to be stored horizontally, vertically or upside down, if you wish, without compromising the fuel. It's a great design.You might get some residual fuel in the funnel causing a little smell, but this will dissipate over time.

Great bottle for carrying your liquid fuel for camping stoves or lanterns. Easy pour locking spout. Solid built. Just a note on ordering as the picture of the bottle is red. And i ordered red, but a green bottle turned up. Hadn't noticed there was 2 colour at the time of ordering. But that doesn't change the fact that the bottle is quality.

Doesn't leak/can use it for any fuel.

Lie in the description. This is NOT ALUMINIUM.IT'S A PLASTIC BOTTLE. The only metal thing on this bottle is the ring around it's neck & the small spring in the cap.Don't waste your time if you're looking for something Aluminium. Refund needed.
