They are a bit flimsy/lightweight, however I knew this from other reviews. I bought them to judge effectiveness & durability over a single winter season. They're inexpensive and you know that going in. Actual aluminum or stainless steel would be much better even if the cost went up, assuming they work at all. I expect to clear them at least once or twice a season, maybe more. Folks that install this kind of prevention device directly under leaf bearing trees are idiots to begin with, they will clog at some point. I have low easily reached gutters so checking them occasionally is feasible, otherwise I would not even consider this kind of device.

They seem to work. I had to squeeze them at the bottom to get them to fit. My gutters had rectangular openings but these bent into place after working them over screws that were already in the gutter.

Flexible enough to fit in the downspout opening and easy to install.

I must admit that I didn't purchase these for their intended purpose. I'm a crafter and I bought them to make something called a cloche. I have made one so far and this worked perfectly! I added a canning jar lid and ring to the top of a candle stick, wired the back of the gutter guard to hold it together and placed a cute little lid to the very top. I spray painted the whole thing in a deep copper color, added some moss and cute little pumpkins and it's beautiful fall decor! I'll be able to change out the little things on the inside for other holidays or seasons. The gutter guards are sturdy and they are the perfect size and shape for what I needed.

Delivery was right on time, which is excellent. The Packaging was simple and easy to remove the product. Received 6 in a box, very flexible and easy to install. While the guy that i hired was on the roof cleaning and removing the leaves, i asked that he install these as well. He mentioned that these are used in many neighborhoods and easy to install.4 stars only because i just had them installed and won't be sure if they work until later.

I bit difficult to install with two screws in downspout.

Finally the ONLY way to keep the Maple seeds OUT of the elbows and the rain still flows down... Last year my 7 maples decided to produce BILLIONS of seeds ... unlike other years. WHAT A MESS... My down spouts were so clogged with seeds, that started to SPROUT, I had to take them completely apart ! That was a CHORE and a HALF. Installed these last year and WALLAH... no more problems... but you will still have to clean out the gutters, which is normal.

Simple and did the trick. We had a coyote go after a rabbit that went up the gutter downspout resulting in the downspout being separated in a couple of sections.Bought a set of theses and put them in the end of the downspout. Rabbits, squirrels and other critters now have to find other escape routes.
