The media could not be loaded.  After reading the 1 star comment I was concerned about buying these carabiners. THEN, I saw a video on YouTube of someone testing the strength of these carabiners and the one he tested broke at 39kn. However, I am worried about micro fractures and aluminum’s possibility of snapping when breaking… I guess that’s where “checking your gear” comes into play. Im 6’4” 320lbs. So far these carabiners have held my fata*s up so I’d assume most of you would be fine.

As good of quality, if not better than the Black Diamond brand, yet 1/3 the price. Bought a pack of 3. Loved how solid and durable they feel, very easy to use 1 handed. Very satisfied. Already bought some more. UPDATE: I'm no longer so confident. After some friends questioned my judgement, I checked for the carabiner on the UIAA website, neither the product nor the company is listed as certified. I contacted the company through Amazon to ask about this and their response was "Where did you saw the safety label?" Apart from it being improper grammar, it's their product, they should know damn well where it is labeled on the product, and they didnt answer my question about the safety certification. Something smells very fishy. It still seems like a pretty solid capable carabiner, but I don't know how safe it is to be trusting it with my life.

I work in the telecommunications industry as a tower technician. It’s critical that I have rated and dependable carabiners to do my job safely. These have a smooth action and are lightweight and feel great to use in the hand, with or without gloves. I’ve used mine in the rain and in freezing temperatures, and they hold up great. I’ve put hundreds of pounds on these and I trust my life to these, hanging hundreds of feet off the ground, and clipping my safety lanyard to these carabiners. I now own 7 of these and will continue to buy these as needed.

Very nice carabiners!..wish I bought all these when I first started climbing trees. Very big / large easy to pass through my Samson 1/2 rope!..going to order more of these!

Needed carabiner to attach my life line to the anchor bracket while working on a 2 story roof, and to attach life line to my safety harness. Large enough and provided me with all the safety needed to complete roofing work.

Way lighter than expected, it’s great. I love the quick release and it’s a great tool to have around even if your not a climber.

I'm working as a security supervisor in a mining operation in Columbia. There are many shafts and tunnels that have a lot of long ladders. I bought this Ayamaya in case of emergency and I needed to snap into the ladder. It's the perfect size for my gear and easy open and close. I'll give it a 5 star if I ever use it to save me!

I bought this for tree climbing to use in place of screw-gate carabiners. I thought it would be easier than screwing and unscrewing the gate. Turns out these are hard to manipulate with gloves on. They will be great for regular climbing.

Good quality, they have now lasted a long time with use every day and the gate is still working correctly.
