Q: Is it supposed to blow outward from the whole front grate?

Mine never did. They said it's normal. It blows at a slight angle so feels like it is not coming full out. That is all normal for these

Just contact the company, if it's too old to have a warranty then maybe you can look online for a replacement.

Q: How many filters need to be replaced, it looks like 2?
