I am a little crazy when it comes to my home. I live by the old William Morris quote (The Englishman-not the talent agency) that one should only have things in one’s home that are both beautiful AND useful. So, yeah, its a little OCD, but my home has always been my sanctuary. This little scoop is in my big glass apothecary jar where I store my powdered laundry detergent. I use this pretty scoop to measure out the detergent. It is ridiculous and amazing how adding these pretty touches to my laundry room take the dread out of doing laundry.

Beautiful little scoop!No rough edges, holds exactly 2/3 Cup.Perfect for my salt and sugar scrubs as it's not a full cup which is too big.Olive wood craftsmanship is very nice and has a unique pattern for each scoop! I bought two, one for salt and one for sugar.Love them!

I love wood so I knew I would like this product!

I just felt that it was a little heavy and that the bottom of the scooper cup was a little too thick compared to the cup itself. Maybe this helps it sit upright more easily without falling over, but I have liked other scoops more. There is nothing actually -wrong- with this one, though. Just a personal preference.

It really is a beautiful piece otherwise, but mine arrived cracked and looked like adhesive had been applied to prevent further cracking.

Whether in the kitchen or for use at theTable, you will find many, many uses. The warm color & smooth texture of the wood is a pleasure to use.Just received my purchase last week so Cannot comment on durability yet. I certainly would only hand wash.

I used this for my bath salts. It's a beautiful ladle. My jar is clear, so I wanted something that would be pretty.
