Good value for money as a waistcoat for early season shooting when it's still too warm to wear a jacket.
If you are 42" chest definitely go with the size L (42-44). The M (40-42) would be fine for me in the chest and upper body but would be too tight at the hem (I'm a 36" waist), Staying with the fit, it is not as tailored as the pictures would have you believe, it doesn't cinch in above the pockets as shown in the pictures, but nothing a cartridge belt won't solve there. I've marked it as "fits as expected" as I anticipated by going 42-44 I would have a bit more room in the chest.On the subject of cartridges, the waist pockets are not bellows pockets, so don't be expecting to carry anything more than a few empty cartridges in them. Chest pockets are deep and generous however.

Not as good as it looks,in advert.. size chart worked for me.
Was late in coming ,don't know why ,size chart on add works as size is right .But 3 stars given as this waistcoat will not keep me warm on a cold shooting day , as its not made of a thick material even the quilted lining is very basic..I was pleased to buy a waistcoat made in this country , but I've owned warmer at a cheaper price ,it looks the part , but I was expecting better from an English product.

Feels like good quality and a comfortable fit. I’m 5’8” average build and bought an XL so the sizing is pretty accurate. Looking forward to wearing it after the lock down.

Excellent quality and price.
Perfect good quality excellent price. Surprised how good it is. Sent efficiently unforunately got delayed in French customs and I had to pay a further 17 e. Brexit!

Great Quality Jacket.
XXS - Great quality jacket, quilted lining thick outer lining, large pockets, comfortable and warm and a heavy duty/metal zip.

A good garment but just needed cotton ends trimming etc.
Fitting, warmth etc excellent but the finish regarding ends and loose threads, is irritating. They do not unravel but just disappoints that one has to check a garment over in that way and arm oneself with scissors.
