Good product that could be better. Instructions included in this review.
I'm hoping this review will help some others. First, these controls are very well built. Appears to be glass reinforced nylon (not just cheap plastic). The adjustment mechanism isn't perfect, but it is functional. The biggest gripe others have mentioned is the lack of instructions for routing cables to the pedals. And I agree, that is a problem. I've added some pictures and instructions to this review to help. One item of note; while there is a small plastic cable anchor (triangular piece) included to anchor the end of the cable...it's useless. You'll want to order a set of "wire rope stop sleeves" from amazon. For most cables, you'll need 1/16 (or 1.5mm) sleeves and the appropriate crimping tool. TIn my example photos there is a coper crimp on the end of the cable to act as a stop.1. Measure and cut your cables to the approx. length you'll need. Leave about 12" extra.2. Crimp stop to one end of the cable.3. Insert the non crimped end in the top hole of the far end of the rail assembly (Image 1)4. Wrap the cable down and through the bottom hole of the rail assembly (Image 2)5. Pull the cable all the way through until the crimp stop seats in the top hole of the rail assembly (Image 3)6. Route the un-crimped end of the cable through the lower hole of the pedal assembly (Image 4)7. Pull the remaining cable through the pedal assembly (Image 5)8. Wrap the cable up and around the channel on the inside edge of the pedal assembly (Image 6 and Image 7)9. Route the cable behind the upper control portion of the pedal through the hole with the metal washer retainer (Image 8)10. Remove any remaining slack from the assembly. The remaining cable should be facing reward and be ready to route back to your rudder (Image 9)11. Repeat these steps for the other pedal assembly. As there is no cable retainer on the rudder facing side of the rail assembly. I would suggest installing a 3/16" UL Cable Clamp as near to this point as you can. These clamps are included with some Rudder Cable Tubing Kits. If you route the tubing close to this point it shouldn't be a problem to clamp it securely inside the cockpit. If you are trying to retrofit a kayak that already has a rudder and cables; your best option is to replace your cables when you install these pedals (replacing the cable tubes isn't required but isn't a bad idea). Routing the cables rearward to the rudder after they have been installed on the pedals is much easier. Reusing the existing cables poses issues of its own as they are usually too short. I hope this is helpful to anyone considering upgrading their rudder controls.

Overall solid controls
It seems to be made of a high-quality plastic. Mounting holes lineup perfectly with my L.L. Bean Manatee Perception Prodigy. I was a little disappointed when I received it. This one was a Amazon return and the previous person drilled holes in it to try and fit to their kayak. I’m not sure how I got through Amazon quality control, but it was an easy return. I’m ordering another set new this time. Other than that it seems like a good upgrade if it works I’ll add it to the other kayaks.

Ridiculous product without instructions
These appear to be a great product however without instructions they are useless. I'll have to spend a couple hours looking at videos from other disgruntled customers to figure it out I guess. What would it be so hard to include a one-page instruction sheet. The exact same thing happened on a Rudder I bought two compliment these.

Works great for kayak rudder
I used these on my wilderness thresher kayak and they work great. They are heavy plastic and are well made. Paired up with the borogo rudder I was able to install a rudder for $75 incl a few nuts, bolts, and cable I bought locally. Factory rudder is $300

No instructions or mounting hardware
Did not come with instructions on how to mount them nor how to feed cable or rope to a trolling motor. Also did not come with any hardware to mount the rails. They look and feel nice but they need the hardware to mount them
