Im refinishing an old dresser and turning it into an aquarium stand. These are strong but not too strong. The old ones needed to be replaced and I wanted something simple and strong so a cat couldn't pry it open yet easy enough to open if my hands were full while cleaning the tank or something. These work great at holding these thick doors
