I always use a fire starter when I light up my Weber kettle. For the price of this Kingsford, I had to buy it. And I’ll continue to buy this Kingsford pack, since it comes with 32 starters. I was buying Royal Oaks from Lowe’s for the same price -but with only 16 starters! And the starters are the same size!They work like a champ! They light up quick and burn for a while.

Perfect firestarter that does not impart harmful chemicals or flavors

I'd run out of fire starters over the summer and needed more for my charcoal grill. After looking at all the various starters, I went with Kingsford both for the name recognition and the price. I have a Webber 22" grill and use a Kingsford chimney to start my coals. One Kingsford fire starter is sufficient to get the coals burning. These starters are made with wood shavings and paraffin in an egg shell-like cup. They fit perfectly in the space under the coals in my chimney. They not only work great, but are super economical.

They are easy to handle, easy to light, produce no odor and they burn long enough to get the charcoal going. I use a standard charcoal chimney, I fill it to the brim with charcoal and it only takes four of these to get the job done. I used eight (once the first set of four is done I added another four) and my charcoal was smoking hot.

Works as advertised. A slight shedding of some fibers, but nothing major. They were a tad smaller than I expected, so they get a 4 star instead of a 5. Will purchase again, no problem.

I recently bought a Solo stove and these work great to get the fire started!

I'm not a professional griller however these things light up fast, I use them every time I grill! They're small in size, and have zero smell. I use these with my charcoal chimney.
