Works for 1/2 Size Violin
This fits my son’s 1/2 size violin well and it mutes it very effectively. He was able to put it on himself. The only slightly negative thing about it is that it’s very heavy. It does the job though, and I’d buy it again.

This isn’t wrapped in a rubber
It isn’t wrapped in rubber like the Artino by Otto Musica. The description is misleading. This is bare metal with a thick paint on it to give the impression that is rubber. Don’t recommend.

Did not fit my student violin bridge.
Did not fit my bridge. I unscrewed it, cut out a piece of cardstock to fit between it to create more space to fit my bridge. Still won’t fit all the way down but it’s better. I will try again with a double piece of cardstock and longer screws. I have a student violin which has a fairly thick bridge, so perhaps, a more professional bridge (thinner) would be fine with this mute?
