Wera 05118024001 Kraftform Micro 2050 PH Phillips Electronics Precision Screwdriver, PH 1 Head, 80mm Blade Length

I absolutely love these Wera precision screwdrivers. If you need small drivers a lot, don't stick with those little silver things, get something like this. I have the whole set that went up to PH0, so I figured I'd add this one. For the size of hardware they're designed to interact with, the size is perfect, the handles are easy to get a grip on, the palm bearing is nice and smooth, and I've never broken one, despite having asked them to loosen some incredibly over-tightened small screws. Made very well, they should last decades.

I have used this at my work and as a controls technician. I have had a lot of brands of screwdrivers in my forty years as a technician. I think this one is the best one I’ve had. I be getting some more.

When it comes to iphones, Un-Hardened screwes in Laptops/Tablets and your trying to repair one of said devices.. These will save your day. These are the "Snap On" of Micro Drivers. When you strip an iphone/mac book and or worst a GPU heatsink screw using an inferior driver, You don't truly understand how much trouble your in until you realize you need to take a 2-3mm Drill Bit, and drill out the bad screw.. Next to a logic board, GPU Die and or main board, and if you make one slip or mistake you run the high possibility of destroying either you own or worst a customers $1,500 device, and YOU have to pay for it. I know you can get these cheap reapir driver kits, but trust me when I say, I have NEVER NOT ONCE stripped a (#000) size screw or smaller using Wera drivers. You may save $20 buying the cheap drivers but it may cost you $100's or worst a returning customer. Wera is pricing these kits really great as well, a full Micro (7pc) set on here is $24!!! You can't go wrong, considering these drivers usually go for $12 each.. If you only have a few dollars now, and you just started Repairing then i suggest you go with the most common sizes (#00 / #000 and PH1) will cover most every small phillips screws in Electronic repair.

As usual - Wera makes a great product - Is as described and works great.The head is concave so the fingertip gets a stable hold while holding the screwdriver in place one-handed while the other fingers are used to turn the screwdriver.

Bought this to disassemble a steam deck with PH#1 screws. Doesn’t fit the holes on the back. For all intents and purposes it’s a quality driver, just doesn’t work for my application.
