Need to have! I have used this for over one year now. It is a life saver. It's always hanging near my doorway ready to good. I have had to jump start my vehicle and other peoples vehicles for a total of about 40 times. Has yet to fail. I bring it with me on long trips and have saved others that were stranded in parking lot with it. Charging it is a little slow, but you can charge in your vehicle after you have started it or any USB connection plug. You literally just connect to the battery, push power button and start your vehicle. I haven't used on a bigger engine like a diesel one, just on gas engines. Came with a nice little bag. I will purchase again IF this one ever stops working.
