Great little accelerometer

I bought these to measure resonance levels from vibrations in a 3D printer (a feature in Klipper firmware). Hooked these up to a Raspberry Pi and they worked fine.Basically, the firmware vibrates the parts back and forth at various frequencies and using this accelerometer it can determine which frequencies move the most (resonant frequencies). It can then compensate for this and remove "ringing patterns" caused by resonance. The whole process worked fine using these accelerometers.Great price for these as well.

Klipper

Worked easily and as expected for Klipper auto resonance tuning. 3 printers done for cheap when compared to cost of 1 board from Adafruit costing around 20$ each or Sparkfun

It’s a good thing they send you 3

It’s hot and miss with these. Out of the initial 3, only one worked. I needed 2. The replacement pack sent to me had 2 that were good so out of the 6, only 3 worked. Out of the 3 that did work, 1 is reporting values way different than the other 2. I’m not sure if these values mean anything yet but once I get my 3D printer back up and running, I will test them with the input shaper. The other 2 I did test with input shaper led to the same results. If your needing more than one or two, I suggest ordering at least 2 packs. Out of 6 you ought to be able to get a few working and just return the duds

Great for Klipper/Raspberry Pi

If you don't know what Klipper is, it is a firmware for 3D printers. These are used on the print head and slinger style beds for calibrating acceleration to eliminate ringing/ghosting due to resonant frequencies of the printer chassis.I have not confirmed the other two from my pack of 3 work but at least the first one I tried works fine. From other reviews of all of these type of sensors, I figured it's a good thing to get a pack in case you end up with a dud. Unfortunately it is a bit wasteful, but at least I have backups in case they are needed for other projects.

Eventually worked

Was using these to cal vibration on a 3d printer. First one I couldn't get to work, even after messing with the software a lot. So decided just to swap it with another. Luckily the pack came with 3 and the 2nd one I tried work. Haven't tried the 3rd so I'll just assume that one will work as well. For the price it isn't a bad deal. Would be great if all 3 worked out of the box.

works fine

these worked OK. some of these type of modules do not read properly on all axis. all three of these worked fine for me with about 1.0G static on each axis, and a variation of 1G when tilting. so if you are having problems with this type of module it may not be your code, try a few different ones and check for stuck axis.

3 out of 3 don't work

I bought these a while ago but didn't use them. When I went to use them, none were detected. I've tried with an Arduino board, an Attiny85 and a Raspberry Pi. These boards didn't work with any of them. They were all packaged until I went to use them.

Works well with a Raspberry Pi 4 running Klipper

I use these for input shaper tuning with Klipper on my Ender 3 V2. They work great, no complaints.
