This book is easy to follow directions. Great booties for new born.

I can't read these instructions. It would have been helpful to have a legend to explain the abbreviations. I know there's Google but I bought a book so I didn't have to keep pausing videos.

Book has a nice variety of booties with size adjustments. My sister was visiting and wanted to take the book home with her, so haven't been able to make any yet.

I like the pattern. I do not like the black and white images. The pattern is hard to see. Atleast to me. I think it's ok for people that know how to crochet booties or more experienced. For newbies it's a little difficult to understand.

Love the pictures of product. Also easy and simple stitches. Numerous examples of the stitches. Great for beginners

I purchased this book because I fell in love with the Mary Jane style booties and thought that they would be perfect to include with a blanket as gifts to friends. The patterns are simple to follow, but I couldn't use the size hook that they recommended.When I did use the size hook they recommended they turned out HUGE! The instructions said that it should be the right size for a 3-6 month old, but I think my 2 year old niece could have worn them. I had to go down 2 hook sizes to have the pattern turn out okay. It was pretty frustrating to have to pull them apart twice just because they recommended the wrong size hook.I know that everyone will crochet a little different and some people's gauge is tighter or looser than others. However, my gauge usually matches almost perfectly with what patterns say, so I don't think this was just user error.This book has some cute patterns, but is definitely not worth the full retail price. Thank goodness I found it cheaper on Amazon.
