I like this remote. It seems at least as sturdy as the OEM remotes. We added a vehicle and wanted a remote for by the man door so I got a two pack. The instructions included were close to accurate but not perfect I'm recently familiar with programming mode on my opener so I knew there was one button push missing from their instructions. All in all I was programmed and working in under 5 minutes.

These remotes are awesome. Because of the reviews I was sceptic to buy. My original remote is exactly the same, it takes a second before the door opens and only works from the driveway, even with new batteries. So the coverage and delay time is exactly the the same. I figure it doesn't work from far away for security reasons. Definitely worth the money, great value.Today 8/26/22, I purchased another set.. Lag time as someone wrote, is exactly the same as my original remote that came with the opener.

Easy to program

I hardly write a review. But I have to write on this one because I am very surprise how easy to set up with my garages. I was concerned about that because it is very cheap. Strongly recommended!

This is a great replacement garage remote. It syncs with my Genie garage opener without any issues. And it works well. So far no issues. It comes with a battery so pretty much works immediately once you program it with the garage opener. And I have an extra remote as well. Great price for this set of 2 remotes!

Bought these bec we purchased a home and the previous sellers did not have the remotes to the garage door as they programmed the genie door to open with their car options. When we tried to program with our cars we could not do it. We contacted Genie customer service who stated we need the remotes to do the smart programming and assured us that these remotes would do the job. We purchased the remotes and could not program the garage door, remotes, to our car smart buttons. We know it's not our cars as we came from a home that allowed the programming to be completed. While the remotes do open the garage door it does not help with the programming of the smart car opener.

Zero issues connecting, works as advertised

The media could not be loaded. Just got these today and took me less than a minute to program both of them. I then went for a walk down the street testing how well they worked. I went 5 houses down and pressed the button and it worked great as you can see. The main reason was so I could have one on my motorcycle key chain so that I didn't have to get off the bike every time I came home and have to used the button pad on the wall. First world problems eh! As far as distance I only went about 140 old man steps from the house and figured that worked about the same as the OEM one that came with the unit. It took less than 24 hours from order to front porch with Prime over night, well impressed! The opener is a Genie SilentMax 1000 I bought about8 years ago!

I couldn't find the old universal genie remote that I had originally bought. These were actually cheaper and quick to switch over. They also shipped quickly so I was able to get the garage working again after someone stole the previous garage door opener out of one of our cars.

I bought these to replace a Genie remote that quit working, they work good not quite the same range as an original remote but it works easily from 80' away which is all I needed. I would not hesitate to purchase again much cheaper than a Genie single remote.

Very simple to program. Very good size

Was very easy to program with my brand (overhead door ) opener. Works greats !
