Bought a 10 pack of these to put up shelves in my garage. I installed them with the short side against the wall, and used 24” deep shelving boards. Everything came together great and the shelves are very sturdy.NOTE: these do NOT come with any screws. You will need to provide your own screws to connect the brackets to the wall and the shelves to the brackets. Make sure you use heavy duty screws and put them into studs - these are big brackets and will hold a lot of weight if you mount them securely. It would be easy to put too much weight on such big shelves if you don’t use hefty enough screws.All in all these were exactly what I was looking for to build 24” shelves.

I was concerned after reading reviews about the holes, being bent, cheap w/no weight capacity, bad finish, et al.At least one review stated he hung his 230# from ONE, so I bought.Actually this was a re-shopping experience since my slotted angle irons were cancelled, throwing my project days behind with an imminent deadline and there are slim pickings in finding weight capacities from the competition on line (idiot marketings?).Using SS Philips heads into smallish pilot holes into 2x4 wood studsthese mounted easily, flawlessly and can hold up the moon, even on surface of 1/2" sheetrock, thus I have no doubts the stated weight capacity, coupled with 230# report are true enough, if screws are 1" into studs.Although not packed against damage from each other, all arrived in perfect shape but I refuse to use a magnifying glass when white paint is cheap and easy to get via Prime, which I did not require.Not only was there nothing wrong with this product, it buries the competition on all counts, except possibly one ... my only sole gripe follows:Delivery delayWhen told Friday ETA on Prime membership coststhen later revealed Saturday when too late to cancel & substituteI felt like I have dealt with someone slimeyand wondered what a pig in a poke might arrive to further frustrate a project on a medical deadline.I promise to forgive, forget now that I have "too many" excellent brackets for future projects ... I really only needed TWO!

I used these brackets to put up some custom-made shelves. The measurements for the shelves were 2"x10"x5'. Needless to say, they were quite heavy. I tried some other brackets and the shelves were sagging forward. I ordered these, they arrived 2-days later and you can practically sit on my shelves now. I filled them with books and there is no way the shelves will be sagging or collapsing. Perfect in that sense! The only reason I'm giving this 4 starts is because they aren't a perfect right angle. They are slightly crooked. I was able to make it work but I figured it shouldn't be like this or it should be disclosed that they are intended to be this way. Overall, very happy!

I read a lot of the reviews and saw some folks were unhappy. Regardless, we decided to try them out. We ordered two boxes, one regular and one from the "warehouse deals" which had "scuffs." Both boxes were in great condition and the ones with scuffs did have minor blemishes but the discounted price was worth it. Overall, these were easy to install, heavy duty and look great. Highly recommend!

Sturdy, but not 90 degrees. The brackets are out of square: the angle is between 91 and 92 degrees. While that doesn't sound like much, When attached to a plumb wall with the short side, the tip of the long side is 1/4 inch higher than the point of the long side at the wall. This is great if you don't things to slide off the front. But if you, say, put a microwave on a shelf supported by these brackets near a kitchen cabinet, the front of the microwave will be very obviously on an angle. (Easy fix here was to put 1/4 inch rubber feet under the back feet of the microwave, which is hidden by the adjacent kitchen cupboard.)I'm glad I got them from Amazon Used for steep discount.

Nothing to dislike. You cannot find this large size in big box stores. I did find a few at a hardware store but I needed at least eight brackets. The hole issue was not a problem as mentioned by other reviewers. The two off set holes are needed as it where most of the weight is supported so the brackets cannot get pulled out of the wall. They have a nice powder coated finish and all were straight with 90 degree bends. I used these at my church in a small room that had a commercial dish machine that was remove and no longer used. 1"x3" boards were anchored with self tapping screws (#12) to metal studs with the brackets screwed to these boards. These shelves are 20" deep but the brackets would have no problem with 24" shelving p. I used all ten, plenty of support even for cases of water. The 1"x3" boards were left as is so an additional shelving could be added if needed.

The brackets are well constructed and quite solid. They don’t sag under weight of items now on shelf. The pre drilled holes for installation were nicely offset for angling and catching wall studs. I will buy more of them.

I used these brackets to replace old brackets for a client and they support a ton of weight and look great. If you need a sleek (not perfect welding or squareness) bracket these are strong and very cost effective.

Put up some of these for shelves in my garage. They seem to be well built for the price when compared to any of the big box home improvement stores around me

I have a kitchen table that was wobbly. I used 8 of these supports and the table is now so sturdy I could dance on it. They were also small enough that legs do not hit the support when sitting at the table.
