I had one of these for years hanging on my makeup table, and use it regularly. I found another use for it, though. I looked in all the drugstores for another one but couldn't find them anywhere. I was very happy to locate them on Amazon.The reason I was frantically looking for them? I got a new cell phone. At the bottom, there is a small cover you have to open so you can charge it. There is no room to get your nail or anything in there to open it. I was sitting at the makeup table, looked up, saw my Orapik, thought "Why not". It works beautifully. I now have an Orapik in every room, my purse, and my travel bag.They are great not only for your teeth, but come in handy for other uses, also.

These are a must for people with implanted lower dentures that don't come out until a dentist takes it out for $250 maintenance. Their shortness lets you put the unit in your mouth with you fingers without your cheek blocking the longer stem on a regular dental pick. That lets you go after any food that might drive your tongue crazy trying to get at which might not not come out with a brushing or even a water-picking. I keep them in the car, in the office, in my man cave. I can't live without these. There is nothing else on the market that I have found that does what these do that well.

Great oral pic!! Ten times better and more effective than any wooden, disposable toothpick. Does a great job at clearing and removing food stuck in hard-to-reach areas of your mouth (such as corn and nuts). I take this little thing everywhere with me. Only downside is the cap. They should have made it a simple turn-to-close cap (like a soda bottle) rather than a cheap snap to close. Not ideal for using as a key chain in this respect. Better to keep in your pants pocket or car tray for when on the go.Oh, yeah, and you can't beat this price. I paid just over $6 for 4 pics plus free shipping. That's about $2 per pic. Great Deal.

Convenient for the size (no bulk in your pants pocket) and much more durable than a wooden toothpick! I keep one with me all the time and, since it's so small (yet strong) and has the angled hook, it can get most items stuck in any tooth without you having to open your mouth much...so you can be MUCH more discreet while using it. Cleans easily too since it's smooth metal. Get more than one for yourself! This is also the perfect stocking stuffer or little gift for people who use toothpicks and are hard to buy practical gifts for.

If you have never had one of these, I highly recommend them. Many times after a meal at a restaurant or after eating popcorn, something will catch between the teeth or a kernel of popcorn will "spoon" a tooth and after many minutes of trying with my tongue to clear it and being unsuccessful, I remain frustrated. With these pocket "dental picks" it is just a matter of opening-clearing the item and return to the pocket. My wife and I have had many of these and will continue to use them in the future.

I bought these for my wife who is eating healthy. Chia seeds are forever getting stuck in her teeth. Ever eat popcorn and get that stuff stuck and you go nuts with your tongue playing with it? These go anywhere, are very well made and now one of the favorite gifts I've ever given her. Go figure? I could have saved a ton of money knowing this sooner.

My Dad and brother are prominent dentists. I’m obsessed with keeping my teeth and gums healthy. These orapiks aren’t meant to replace dental floss. I use my orapiks daily to remove food stuck in my bottom teeth, permanent retainer. The orapiks remove tartar from teeth, too. Highly recommend!
