Turned out to be exactly as I wanted. Not too big or too small. Time, date, temp and alarm. The only drawback were the instructions , difficult to understand ( impossible) , so figured it out myself , not too difficult.

Three were bought, two worked exactly as expected, zero problems. The third did not work like the others, no alarm sound when powered up, no clear digits. I checked the batteries with an AVO meter and all three AAA were at full power. (2029, see pick). I will be appealing for a replacement asap. :(Apart from that the clocks are great, easy to set up, no instructions necessary. Nice loud alarm and clear digits. The screen can be backlit by pressing the button on top. In addition, a new feature I have never seen before. There is a "sensor" that when switched on will set the backlit illumination to suit the background lighting. That might be handy for some, but as I suspect it will drain the battery faster so I have switched it off.

Great clock

It came in great condition, very quickly. It’s got a wide variety of functions including alarm, time, date and temperature. The alarm is loud enough to wake me (though I’m a light sleeper) but I read in another review that there’s only a snooze rather then a function to turn it off entirely though you can turn off the alarm at the back rather then on the top like a normal one. Now for the bad stuff.• My bedside table is only a few inches higher then where my mattress is so I put my alarm clock on there. When I lay down or even sit on my bed I cannot read the alarm as it is blurred. It’s difficult to explain but the numbers are sort of hidden and blend in with the background light rather then a defined image. You have to sit up a bit higher and look at an angle to be able to read it.• Another point similar to my first one. When you lay down and you want to read the time, you’ll want to angle the clock so you can read it without sitting up. At night, in a dark room, when you angle it, the light goes off so you can’t read the time. So either way it’s either unreadable.• with the alarm, as I said it will wake you up but I’ve found that it doesn’t work after the first 5 alarms or so. I have no idea if this is because of the quality of the clock or whether I have been hitting it too hard (either way I wouldn’t risk it, it made me late for work). Instead of the normal sound it made, it made a repetitive, fast beeping sound and sort of faded into a humming sound that only stopped when I removed the batteries. It still woke me up (because, like I said, im a light sleeper) but didn’t turn off when I hit the button, or turned off the alarm and only when I removed the batteries. When I put them back in a few seconds later the humming continued so I left them out for a few minutes and when I put them back in it had stopped but the time, date and alarm had gone back to its original settings (12:00am, 1/1, ect)• last point, you have to use your own batteries, they’re not supplied.Obviously shop how you want, but I’ve had it for a few weeks and I’m buying a new one after I submit this review. Hope this helps you guys :)

I was looking for a good size Digital Clock for the kitchen and this clock seemed to suit this need at a reasonable price. Turns out this is a cheaply China made clock (there are a lot of quality China made products but this isn’t one of them), Firstly, the battery cover was difficult to close as the batteries wouldn’t stay in place. Secondly, the manual is very difficult to understand and it references non-existing function setting number. However, I did finally manage to set up the necessary. Thirdly, the indicated temperature was definitely incorrect as my room temperature couldn’t be higher than 21C. Lastly, I wouldn’t bother with the alarm as I simply don’t trust this clock. I just hope it will continue to tell the correct time. Time will tell.Well the clock finally ceases to work anymore today July 14 2023.
