I planned to replace an old garage opener liftmaster 1/2 HP made in 1997 because we only had one remote and it was not convenient. The problem is the old unit worked pretty well. Before I replaced it, I gave this a try. What a good choice. Installation is so easy. Just press the red learn button, then press the key on the remote. The opener responded with two click sound (very subtle). After just a few seconds, I now have two new remote. No need to replace the opener.

What I got looks nothing like the picture. I ordered it because the price was great and it claimed to work with my garage door model number.Well, it works. I got a 3-button remote that had to be paired putting the main unit in pairing mode, but it did work right away.So it works, price is great, but nothing like the picture.

This product works as suggested. The buttons take hard depressions in order for it to work but they do work. I’d buy more if needed

These arrived and are for orange or red button garage door openers, but we wanted the single button remote as in the photo. These were three button remotes with no instructions on the second two buttons. The second two buttons do nothing as far as we can tell because we only have a one button garage door opener. :/ The larger button does open and close the garage door but it's inconsistent plus you have to be fairly close to the garage door so the range is not great. Wish we had got what we actually ordered. Thinking about returning them.
