Weleda Hydrating Day Face Cream, 1 Fluid Ounce, Plant Rich Moisturizer with Iris Root, Jojoba Oil and Witch Hazel

I use Weleda Body Butter, which is full of Shea Butter, on my body and was delighted to discover that the company made a facial moisturizer. It is very good for my very dry skin. It seems to last a long time. I must admit I use a serum beneath it. I believe it would feel even better without the serum. It doesn't leave my face sticky or oily. My face seems to absorb it easily. Because my skin is so dry, I still have to combine it with other moisturizers but for the average person, this cream, which doesn't contain any strange chemicals, would work beautifully, I think. I'm so happy I found this company and discovered that for my skin, Shea Butter is the best moisturizer.

I began using Weleda Iris Day cream and Night cream several years ago. It does an excellent job of hydrating without greasing. I have dry skin and rarely have blemishes. I constantly get complements on my flawless skin and people are shocked to find that I have a 20 year old son and 17 year old daughter. My daughter (we are often mistaken for sisters) who has oily skin and has battled acne for 5 years has found this same moisturizer to be the perfect one for her skin, as well. Keeps her skin soft and smooth, not allowing for closed, dry pours to form eruptions. Prior to this, we had tried several "oil minimizing" moisturizers, which left her skin dry and tight and allowed for pours to fill in with black heads and pimples. After all we tried for her, it was rather surprising to find the same moisturizer worked for us both!I am 45 years old and am often mistaken for late 20's to early 30's. I attribute some of this to genetics, but much of this to these fantastic day and night creams!

i love it but 1oz is to small would love a bigger tube

I love Weleda. Their skin food cream and body butter are the best lotions on the market in my opinion (my partner has eczema and this is the ONLY lotion that helps his hands and skin, and we've tried them all).I was excited to try a new product in their line, and maybe its because I had high expectations from their skin food lotion, but I found this lotion to be sort of meh. The consistency is nice (thinner slightly than skin food), and the ingredients are nice. It does work as a lotion, my biggest gripe is that the fragrance is overwhelmingly strong. Perfumes aren't great for skin in general, but I don't mind using it once in a while. I just felt like the floral smell was too strong, and not particularly natural smelling, like it was a little synthetic or something.If you love a very strong floral scent, then you might enjoy this product. Its not for me though.

A little confused by the tube, as the label is mostly German and says Balancing Day Cream -- rather than Hydrating. But it seems like it's the same, so that's no big deal. The scent is a little strong, and has a slight citronella tinge to it, but it faded in minutes. Doesn't bother my uber-sensitive skin in any way, and is soothing. Been using this for several years, but just bought off Amazon for the first time. I have rosacea, combination skin (dry cheeks, forehead, and oily nose & chin)I break out super easy - and know within an hour or so if something is going to make my skin react. I love Weleda! Highly recommend.

I live in the south West and the air is very dry. This cream does it- moisturizes all day! Keeps my skin soft and moisturized , very light scent, can’t really tell there’s really much of a scent , goes on light slightly greasy but doesn’t stay that way. Drawback- small tube for the price, not sure if I’ll be able to afford this every month, but I do really like this product! This brand is a good brand for hand cream, that’s why I tried it for my face.

Wow esta crema me encanto me había sido muy difícil encontrar una buena crema de día había usado tantas de muchas marcas y precios ( caras y baratas) pero me gusta bastante... aunque en el primer uso me salieron unos pequeños granitos y me daba comezón creo que debido al cambio porque me ha pasado cuando cambio de crema la dejé de usar unos días y luego volví a usarla y es la mejor crema crema hidrata muy bien mi piel se ve radiante sin ser grasa y tiene un aroma riquísimo huele a productos muy naturales....en cuanto al precio creo que no es cara por cómo me queda mi piel vale la pena pagar el costo, definitivamente la voy a seguir usando.

Is this manufactured somewhere else? I've bought this brand in Europe and the products are VERY different, even the packaging is different. I was glad to see it on amazon, but this is not the same and I don't like it at all.
