Works well on my 1998 Chevrolet truck. Hard to tell if they will last but you cannot beat the price. If they wear out I will buy another pair.

Too long.
The cables are cheap on price but they are too long. The tail gate does not sit level but drops down because the cables are too long.

If you need to replace these just spend the ten or fifteen bucks and do it. Five minute job. Can use an Allen wrench instead of star.
