Seaflo Manual to Electric Marine Toilet Conversion Kit, White (SFMTP1-02)

I fitted this to a Force 4 manual toilet and the only change I had to make was to the position of the flushing water pipe. To simplify the change I lifted out the complete toilet. Then it was very easy to change the pump, gaskets etc. I had to use the new outlet fitting as the Force 4 one was slightly different. I also took a new electrical supply from the distribution board fused at 25 amp. The supply is switched on and off using a 40 amp relay operated by a waterproof switch in the toilet. The most ackward job was bolting the toilet back down as due to lack of space the pipes gave to be connected up first ( it is a 2 person job which only 1 person can access).The moment I saw the macerator had been made in Germany and felt how solid it is I knew I had a quality product. I wish I had made the upgrade a few years ago, the ease of use and speed of flushing is amazing. I don’t think it is excessively noisy as I was surprised at the low level of noise.

The media could not be loaded. This is a brand new pump. It seems to work intermittently. More often than not the water flows over the side of the toilet.It is very loud and would wake everyone in the boat if used at night.

After 2 months the blade snapped off and would not flush, worked fine till then but very loud
