Does the job without requiring an adaptor
The units are lighter and slightly smaller than the Cat-Mate unit it was replacing so could be an issue for a large cat. However no need to buy an adaptor kit required by the original flap which saves you ten to fifteen pounds for a kit which you only required one part of it.

All good but ridiculously expensive
Had to use 4 of these for my wall cat flap. Working all fine, but at around £35 this is ridiculous for a few bits of plastic, having already paid £73 for the flap. Highway robbery!

Make sure you order the correct size.
Essential when fitting through thicker walls. Just simple plastic collars to extend the tunnel to the cat flap, so a little pricey for what they are.Fixings are not supplied, I removed the cover to access 4 fixing holes at the front which allowed me to screw the front to my wall.It’s not easy to find the right size so look carefully and check the measurements.

Expensive for a bit of plastic
Ridiculously expensive for a flimsy bit of plastic that you have to tape to the cat flap (tape not included). It does work well once installed.

Good purchase
Bought this product to go through 11" cavity wall. Works very well at reading my cats chip. Took a while for him to get used to using it and it's quite a long tunnel. A hint when assembling the tunnel to prevent it coming apart all the time is the use of a little solvent cement ( plumbing waste pipe glue) made the whole job of installation so much easier.
