I was struggling with a Jabra speaker, as I was getting significant echo using the mic, which was annoying other participants. These SSL mic is fantastic, cutting through the general background noise of busy teams calls, and has excellent noise cancelling built in, to the extent that when we had building work next door, it removed the drilling noise completely!As a recording mic, you can access all 4 microphones independently, which makes it great for recording small acoustic groups. Just drop it in the middle of them, and away you go!The recording and playback is 24 bit / 96Khz, which makes a big difference, and gives smooth audio via the 3.5mm socket, for both headphones, or like me, plugged into some powered speakers.The mute is easy to use, and changing modes is simple. Tried field recording plugged into an Android phone, and that worked equally well, albeit limited to stereo recording only.Supplied with quality USB C cable and adapter, along with a mic stand connector.

Does exactly as described. Sounds great with plenty of options for recording. Well made and extremely good value.

As you would expect from an SSL product the sound quality and audio processing is excellent even in conference calls with a lot of ambient noise. Fits nicely into my laptop bag and looks cool on my desk! Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic piece of kit. Aesthetically pleasing, neat, compact and sleek, small enough to fit right in to any set up. It's easy to use and has a lovely clear sound, balanced and bright when recording. Great for use in live feeds or recordings when there are multiple musicians and instruments in the same space. There are four settings, I've been using the vocal setting for voiceovers and the music setting for recording live jams and really happy with it.

My flute recordings sound amazing through CONNEX, especially when I put it in music mode – super clear and not harsh. Group mode is also useful when im on conference calls. Feels nice and well made. I think there’s sound processing going on as CONNEX sound so much more refined than my old USB mic.

Not exactly what i thought. Im unable to use with DAWs. Anyone who manages please let me know how. The sound quality in recordings has been less than i would expect from SSL who are top notch for everything else. If im doing something wrong please anyone help me.

The Connex is a great little conferencing mic that worked flawlessly with my PC with virtually no set up time. The audio quality is excellent and it’s been perfect for group conference calls to make sure everyone is heard clearly. The controls on the top of the mic are easy to use and the headphone amp sounds great. All in all a brilliant bit of kit for my needs.

SSL are great at other music technology stuff - just not this sadly
