The colour is nice, something like a little antiqued brass, it has enough shine and it works well with light gold rings. I used them for very light curtains, but it seems it can bear medium weight curtains too. The plastic ring/tube between two rods is black, wish it was something more close to nude or light brown to match the gold brass colour of the rods.

I’m super picky about my home and these curtain rods are absolutely perfect, minimal, not bulky at all. I love the way they look

These went perfectly with the other gold accents I have in my home and the blue and gold curtains I have. I ordered two 2 packs for my bedroom and living room. The two in my bedroom are on slim 24” wide windows and were simple to install, except it is SO hard to drill in the top screw without stripping it because of the angle. A ratchet screwdriver was much easier, though. The ones for my living room were somehow much more time consuming- I have 80” wide windows and got the 47-88” for these. I wish I would have just got the next size up since they sag in the middle, so I had to get an arm to hold the middle up since I desperately needed to get these curtains up and didn’t want to return and wait for new ones. Plus, the little end pieces on these had two defective ones that would not go on right and now I need to super glue them since they fall off if you look at them wrong. In any case, they look beautiful, but check your rod carefully and size up if you’re near the cutoff!

The color matched my needs but the end caps do not stay on and just fall off. There’s nothing to make it tighter or keep it on.
