I bought this remote control because the original was on it's last legs so thought I had better buy a replacement before the original does pack in, good job I did as the new one for all is meant for a TV and unlike other One For All remote controls that operate 4 machines all the numerical's in the leaflet were for, TV sets and I wanted it for a Panasonic hard drive free view recorder and had to use the original to manually input the buttons. The One For All does a sterling job most of the buttons correspond with the original remote control so I wont get mixed up. The button press is a lot easier than on the original remote, not needing as much pressure to operate them, it feels well built so should last for a long time, only time will tell on this though. When I bought this I hadn't realized it was meant for a TV until it arrived but thought I'd still give it a go, so glad I did and at a price that wont break the bank.

I've used a One For All remote once before. So I I know it can replace multiple device remotes. Connectivity and Control capability is pretty good. I tried all the codes for my tv on the instruction sheet, but found the code with the search function. It took a moment or two to figure out which buttons did the function the original remote did. It was reasonably priced and battery life is fine once I used decent batteries. The batteries that came with the remote didn't last long before running out of juice. I bought rechargeable batteries but am still using the ones I replaced the ones that came with the remote

Top quality OneForAll universal TV remote works perfectly well with my LG TV as the original remote eventually became unusable the buttons were worn out so got this remote and it was so easy to set up it literally took less than a minute and it was fully functional so I’m very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend this OneForAll universal remote to replace a broken TV remote

Probably great with older TV’s.Although this is marketed as a universal remote I’d advise you don’t hold your breath on that statement. These All For One controllers haven’t changed in nearly 15 years so I’m not sure why I was surprised to see this not function as it should. I have tried it on two smart tv’s, both different brands and unfortunately this remote didn’t work with either. Had a handful of buttons work on the Toshiba but the menu, settings, numbers, none of that worked. The LG was more compatible but there’s no home button and the numbers didn’t work at all. So it’s sort of functional but not even 60% of the buttons had compatible function.
