I only needed the optical output on mine so I can connect it to my smsl d0100pro DAC with dual 9093q2m chips to my Kali audio lp-unf powered speakers and it works great. I put around 1k songs on my 128GB (although they include a 32 GB) SD memory card and played in shuffle mode on. I like the physical buttons on top, they work great! I love the looks of the level meters too with their amber lights!

Well made unit with vu meters and a nice screen. I have no need for streaming of Bluetooth. This is all I needed as a way to have easy access to my music collection in the home stereo.The unit is well made, and all my needs are met. Update I purchased another one for in the garage workshop

Didn’t work at all for me. Formatted two different flash drives, and two different SD cards in fat32 & exfat. Showed scanning for over 2hrs. Wouldn’t read any of the four. Customer service is nonexistent. Highly disappointed, I really wanted this to work for me.

This is close to being the ideal backing track player for musicians, if only there was an option to disable autoplay. It has stereo XLR outs, and plays WAV files or MP3 files from an SD card, so it is great to get high quality backing tracks into the mixer with a solid, balanced, XLR cable connection. What ruins the experience for this application is that there is no mode to play 1 song and then stop, and also when you navigate to a new song, it autostarts playing the song. These two aspects require you to manually pause the playback every time you finish a track or que up a track. As a result, I had to add 5 seconds of dead air at the beginning of each track to allow time for fiddling with this. If Douk could update the firmware to provide an option to disable both of these forms of autoplay, it would be the perfect backing track player.

The media could not be loaded. Great device for those that keep a music library on a storage device (SD, USB Flash, USB HD) and want to play it back on their systems while having a dedicated info readout and a pair of classic VU's, the Internal DAC is quite nice PLUS it has Coax/Toslink digital outputs that can be connected to an external DAC.Very, Very Nice Device.

I love this thing and I don't know why more companies haven't come out with something just like it. It does everything I want other than Bluetooth which is not that big of a necessity. I have three flash drives that have my whole music collection on them and can listen to music for weeks without hearing the same song Twice. It worked great and very aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend.
