The media could not be loaded. Pulled it out of the box, installed it. filled the bowl with fuel and gave it a shot.. fired up takes throttle well,hooked the vacuum gauge to it, made some basic adjustments idles well and seems to be a good little carb.

The price of these carbs makes them alluring considering they aren't much more than the cost of a quality rebuild kit for a 50+ year old OEM carb. I installed mine, vacuum tuned it it real quick with a few minor tweaks to the adjustment screw and my truck now runs like a champ. Well worth the price, just understand like with any carburetor it may run perfectly right out of the box, or may need some tweaks here and there. Mine's been doing great for about a month now and about 500 miles of driving. Bottom line, these carbs are a good deal for the money.

Carburetor was install on engine and ran for 5 minutes before the choke attachment fell off the butterfly valve and destroyed the engine, which was newly rebuilt. I saved a 100 bucks buying a cheap carburetor which ended costing over $2000 to repair, buyer beware poor quality.

This single barrel carb bolts right up to my 1950 Dodge B2B and would probably fit other barrel carb vehicles from 40's and 50's too. The parts are cast well and there are no leaks, the truck runs great with it.
