Great tool to meet your needs
This is just what I needed for leather work, they are very accurate and substantial and stay locked where I set them. They arrived in perfect condition and on time.

I would buy this one
I use this for leather working. It is lockable it is sharp enough to score the leather the way I need it. It does not weigh very much the metal construction makes it very durable. It is easy to use. I would recommend buying it.

Work well!-Some of these other folks may have gotten a lemon, but I received a flawless tool.(I would note that you should squeeze the jaws/ends together slightly when adjusting the apparatus, so as to not lay undo/extra pressure onto the threads or threaded adjustment nob. Not something wrong with this tool in any way, and it can hold up to simply turning the nib…. But it is better for longevity of the piece to do this)10/10

Tips slightly askew
The tips are not in the same plane. Do not stay in same plane if bent back.
