Bambody Absorbent Brief, Super Comfy Period Underwear for Women - Leakproof Period Panties

These are the best period underwear I have found. They do run a little small, but are great!

So for appearances, these are a little dowdy in my opinion, but they hide well enough under my clothes. However, I did get the medium size (Amazon's suggestion) when I think I should have stuck to my regular size- small; I can pull them all the way up to my natural waist and they are not meant to be high-leg. The reason I'm still rating them so highly is because they are effective for me. I have very heavy periods (fibroids) and use a menstrual cup in addition to these underwear on heavy flow days and overnight. These underwear have reliably kept the mess contained if the cup overflows. I also wear them without any other protection on lighter flow days and have never had leaks. I've worn them about half a dozen times so far and they're still holding up well. To clean, I rinse them, then launder in cold-to-warm water and hang dry. I like them so much I ordered more in the small size, though haven't worn those ones yet.

So my honest bloody review of these underwear.I wore them for the days preceding, waiting, cus the acne on my chest refused to be controlled and it was a month minus 4 days since my last period, so I'm like a sailor going “storms coming”. Great undies for that middle “will i won't i” phase, bled a little on the second day. Since they feel like normal (maybe thicker) underwear, you won't notice them.But-It started today. It went as… heavy as i assumed it would. Mines pretty bad without birth control (no cramps, this time!) I was afraid so I decided to change underwear and put in a cup and pad after 4-5 hours, yet the old panties(these bambody ones)…barely looked like anything was in it (the usual gross clots that won't absorb anyway aside). I decided to hand wash and hang dry and dear God. The amount of blood that came out. It took a lotta rinsing and squeezing until it was clear, even scrubbing it on a board with detergent, like a medieval washer. It holds a lot. I still fear trusting it for a heavy overnight- it's a fear well gained by every pad that failed me, but i think it's at least equal to every heavy pad I've used during the day…I might risk testing it at night, after I put some extra security down (baby/puppy pad or rubber sheets).But I'll also say these are comfortable but the (non crotch) fabric is somewhat fragile. I managed to rip a hole with my regular, non-acrylic filed down ‘boy’ nails, just pulling them up once. Hole isn't interfering with actual use though. I did go a size down from their suggestion based on previous purchases(suggested size 8, went 7, i had lost about 10 pounds)- though glad i did cus these are the perfect level of tight to ward off leaks but aren't uncomfortable, they just don't move.

i genuinely adore these, ive bought multiple packs of them. i cant use other period products due to skin sensitivity and im fairly certain these saved me from so many possible period mental breakdowns. each time ive ordered these, they have an updated version thats so much comfier than the last and i am so grateful lol!! i freaking love these. theyre very soft, the waist band is stretchy and not too loose or tight. theyre breathable and i can wear one pair for maybe 2 hours max on a superduper heavy flow day. theyre also great for spotting. they do sorta show up under thin clothes like leggings but i just wear a longer shirt and im good. ive never noticed leaking with these, nothing spills out. anyways these are great!!

I have always wanted to try period underwear but I have been hesitant to buy because it’s expensive. Later on I was glad I didn’t buy them when news reports came out about how popular period underwear brands had PFAS.So when I found Bambody underwear that was much more affordable and claimed it had no PFAs, I hoped for the the best when I bought it.To my dismay, Bambody underwear was not as absorbent as I expected and I wished the absorbent material was a bit longer in length for more coverage. I wish it was more absorbent so I wouldn't have to take off my pants to change underwear when I’m out because that’s inconvenient. On top of that, during washing I discovered that these underwear took a LONG time to hang dry completely. If I wanted to use Bambody underwear for the entirety of my menstrual cycle, I would have to buy many underwear and that would cost a lot. On the other hand, the material is quite comfy and the underwear itself seems to be well-made and the sizing seems accurate.So I opted to use this when I’m nearing the end of my period as a replacement for pantiliners and that worked well. Bambody underwear is a great supplemental product to add to another sustainable option such as menstrual cup or reusable pads. But I personally don’t think this period underwear is an absolute replacement for disposable pads/tampons which is why I’m giving it 3 stars.

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to get period panties because I’m tired of wasting pads and tampons and the money!These are a great price for a multipack with fast shipping. The arrived in perfect condition.I wear them primarily at night during my flow. I haven’t had any leaks with these on and they seem to hold all of the liquid inside nicely. Overall they do their job well. I have a light-medium flow.My only complaint is they are a bit of a high waisted cut for my preference. If I buy more I would go down one size in terms of fit and comfort. They are very stretchy so I think that would be perfect.I personally prefer to only wear them at night for that reason. In the morning I rinse them out in the sink then toss them into the washing at the end of the week. I chose to hang dry to make them last longer. So overall great wash ability.
