It is hard to tell from the pictures - does the dial have a black border? Or is that an optical illusion of the crystal?
Under description it says band is black and dial is brown. under features and details it say band is brown and dial is green. which is it???
What is the case size?
The watch loses about 20 seconds a day. Can this be fixed with an adjustment ?

100% perfect

I am amazed by the quality and aesthetics of this piece. From the beautiful domed sapphire crystal, to the classic style hands and markers, to the beautiful two-tone faded dial, this thing is beautiful all the way around. The size is perfect and the domed crystal does a nice job of giving the dial a magnified appearance. The band is top notch and the alligator pattern was a plus for something in this price range. I would have rather had the brown band, and accidentally ordered with black, but still looks really good with the gold and dark outer edge of the dial. From a functionality perspective, it keeps decent time, but I've caught it being a little fast by a few seconds a day. This isn't really a big deal for me and something I've gotten used to with automatic/mechanical watches. I just pull the crown, count to whatever I need, push the crown back in and you're good for another day. The comfort is outstanding and I can wear it for hours without even noticing it's there (other than constantly catching my eye of course).I have a number of nice watches and this is one of my favorites. Absolutely nothing negative to say about it. I wish I had a large clock size version to put on my wall!

Really good looking watch from good company

If you read any reviews, you’ll soon find out it is a great watch. It just is. I was going to get the blue, but I already have a few blue watches, so I decedent to try this color because it was different from all my other watches. I’m not a big fan of gold in general, but this watch is really elegant. The dial is much darker in person than on the product photos. It makes the gold really pop in a good AND subtle way. With the sunburst dial and done crystal the face changes from light to dark in bright light. You’ll either love it or hate it, but I find the 42mm size perfect. 39 is about as small as I like to go. This is a beautiful watch and I like the 42 mm size to see the details like the applied logo. I love the micro thin second with red on the tip. You go into this knowing their is no lume, so it’s difficult to see in very low light and a no go in dark. The band seems of good quality, but not thrilled with the newbuck leather color. I will change it out. And of course......I would have liked/paid more, for a sapphire crystal.Accuracy is luck of the draw, but I’ve been tracking mine with an app and atomic clock. +2 seconds a day!!!Overall this is just a really good looking watch, from a really good company at a really good price. I am totally satisfied.

Excellent watch - Update

I’ve been wearing this watch for about a month now. It looks just like the pictures, the colors are accurately depicted. It is much lighter weight than I expected, a welcome surprise. It keeps time very well. I don’t jog anymore, so I hand wind it. It takes about 8 to 10 partial turns per day. I like winding it. The second hand sound is extremely faint, I cannot hear it at all when there is any ambient sound. It is a thin watch as well, it doesn’t get caught on jacket and coat sleeves nearly as much as my other watches. I like the big dial. The blue face actually fades to a slightly darker shade towards the outer edges, this helps contrast the chrome dial markers making it easier to read in low light conditions. The watch band works great.Update: It has been about five months now. I wear it daily, the only time I take it off is to wind it, or when I shower. I could probably leave it on then too, but it is hard to dry between the watch and my skin. The watch has hacking, where the movement stops while you are setting the time. This is great if you want to set it to the EXACT time, but if it is within a few seconds, that is fine for my current needs. Regarding the band, it has shaped to the curvature of my wrist. I typically use one of two holes on the band. My wrist swells at night, so I loosen it one notch for while I sleep. It looks like it takes a tiny partial wind for each hour of run time. So if I wind it before sleeping, or work, then wind it again after, I do a tiny partial turn for each hour. You can go a long time between windings, I just choose to wind it daily. I am still very happy with this purchase. I typically wipe the watch face with a cotton Tee shirt, and I have used leather conditioner on the band once while I was treating a coat, belt, shoes, boots, holsters, etc. On the occasion someone, including watch aficionados, say “nice watch”, I reply “I know”.

Good Value / Entry Level Auto Dress Watch

This is a pretty good entry level dress watch that gets you a Japanese autonstic movement with hand winding and hacking. I believe Orient’s movements are all ‘In House’ (for what that’s worth). The movement on my watch was very accurate. I tested it on the Toolwatch app and it came in at 2 seconds fast per day.The hand winding works fine, but it “feels” a bit jenky compared to higher end models. But that’s okay, because this is a very inexpensive watch.I like the greyed dial and a sort of copper / rose indices that look nice. No lumination so it is difficult to impossible to read at night, but that’s expected from most dress watches. The band that comes with this model is a tan suede. It’s a bit stiff and uncomfortable, but that’s okay. Cutting corners on the strap makes sense to keep the price low. For $15-$20, you can get a very soft leather strap. Certain styles of NATO straps could possibly work here too.Overall, if your new to mechanical watches and your looking for a ‘Dress’ watch, then any of the versions / styles of the Orient Bambino is a good place to start.
