Works wonders for FINE hair
I have VERY fine hair and finding a curling iron that the wand will hold onto my hair has been a challenge. I read reviews on this curliing iron regarding fine hair and the reviews were spot on. My hair is even holding the curl which is also a challenge. Long cord length and heats up fast. Great quality curling iron with a good price. Extremely happy with my purchase.

The best curling iron for fine/thin hair
For reference: my hair is long (down to my back) straight, and does not take to curls well.I never write reviews but I had to for this curling iron because it is now my favorite curling iron. For this quality iron, the price is fantastic. Here is what I love about it:1. It holds and curls my fine hair.Even at the ends where my hair gets thin, the curling iron completely closes around the few hairs I have. Most irons in the past don't close all the way around the thin parts of my hair.2. No nails or weird edges that pull out my hair. Most curling irons pull out my hair at least a little bit just from the nail hinge on the clamp. This curling iron is smooth all the way around and has not ripped at my hair!3. The barrel length is perfect for twist curlingSome barrels are too long and its hard to maneuver, but this shorter length barrel works great.4. GripThe grip and handle fit well in my hand which also helps with manouverability. I don't have any issues with the on/off button placement either. Some curling irons it's easy to accidentally press, but this button does not get in the way. You also have to press down slightly firmly to turn on/off or change the temperature. So you won't be accidentally changing the temperature while you are curling.5. Curl holdCreates perfect curls without having to turn the temperature way up like I usually must do.6. It's pink/rose goldI don't care about aesthetics but hey I'll take a rose gold iron, it's cute. Conclusion: Great for the price. No need to get a $100+ iron. This is all you need.

I prefer brands I have previously owned.
The cord is way too long. I really don’t like how the temperature selection is managed. It’s too easy to accidentally increase the temperature without realizing it.

The iron for my hair and my sanity!
The media could not be loaded. Since COVID, all the big box stores have reduced the number of brands they carry, which forces consumers to buy whatever the store chooses to bring in, and enables retailers to raise prices. The outcome has been a very limited choice of hair tools including curling irons. Almost every big box store has carried a lowish price point Conair, and then more expensive tools, tools that automatically rotate, tools that will curl or straighten, tools coated with special properties that are supposed to reduce frizz. If you just want a simple curling iron like I do, It's Conair or nothing. I have now had three low price point Conairs, each with the same fatal flaw - the clamp spring is not sufficiently tight spring to hold my hair as I roll it. The Conairs seem to be good only for thick hair. Because my hair falls out of the wand as quickly as I can roll it, it takes me three times as long to curl using the Conair.I didn't want to buy on Amazon because I've noticed that Amazon's prices are also on the rise, and also I prefer to shop in my community when possible. But I finally gave in, looked at dozens of curling irons, read all the reviews, watched customer videos etc. In the end I purchased this product because a reviewer mentioned that she had fine hair and it held! I've now used this curling iron, and thank you universe, it does hold fine hair. And it is much more. Still a relatively decent price point considering what else is out there. Well made, great safety teachers and comfort materials. And aesthetically pleasing. I mean I don't need my curling iron to be aesthetically pleasing, but if it is, all the better! I highly recommend, and wish I would have purchased this a long time ago.
