Review specific to Fly tying
This light was not bright enough for my purposes, fly tying, but it was a good product, and functions as advertised.Five stars but I may suggest seeking out another if you’re using it for Fly tying in particular.It’s worth mentioning a friend of mine has it and it’s plenty bright for him.

Love the lighting features
I love this magnifying/ lamp. The best part is the light adjustments from bright to dim, and white led to warm golden yellow. The base is needs to be heavier. When I move the goose neck, the base doesn't stay put. I'm ordering another for my husband. He'll use the clamp instead of the base.

Difficult to bring magnifier into focus.
I found the magnifier very difficult to bring into focus. I don't have problems with focus on any other magnifier's that I use. The gooseneck is too short for my needs, and I found it to be somewhat stiff to adjust. This lamp may work well when used to work directly from a table on a small project. The design is just awkward for me.In fairness to the product, I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions. It is well built, and I found it to be stable when attached to the clip or the table stand.I gave this product a 4-star rating due to the difficulty with Lense focus.

Well made, affordable, and multifunctional
This is an excellent lamp and magnifier, especially for tired, old eyes that need a little help in clarification. I have already used the magnifying function several times and the lamp is adjustable as to brightness. I use a lot of low light in my home and this lamp is perfect. The reasonable price is just icing on the cake.

Pretty good!
It works but just a bit difficult as by the time I get it to magnify what I want it's pretty close to what I want to see.
