These are my go-to empty bags for loose leaf tea now. They're a perfect size for the opening to be not too small for a proper tea spoon, but not too big that it doesn't easily fit in a normal mug.They're a fantastic compromise between a filter that you need to clean, and a sealed bag that potentially has poor quality tea or doesn't let the leaves infuse properly.As you'd expect, they allow the water to enter from all sides to reach the tea. Whilst it doesn't always let those leaves float freely (unless you jingle the bag a bit), it does give you significantly more surface area than other methods.If you're using a hard-to-clean filter (especially those tiny silicone ones - ick!) then give these a go. Even if you save them for "special" teas, they're great to have in the cupboard.

The product was satisfactory, I much prefer the unbleached ones but they were difficult to locate, so I had to settle for these.

I saw these in a tea shop recently and thought they were a brilliant idea. I’m a bit old fashioned and like my tea made with loose leaf tea in a china tea pot.It saves a lot of hassle in not having to wash out the teapot with loose leaf tea.
