Officially a plant parent against all odds!
Let me preface this by saying: I have the opposite of a green thumb. Whatever thumb color means “plants quake in fear,” that’s me. But I decided to live dangerously and try replanting my coco tomatoes and starting some English lavender, because who doesn’t want a windowsill that says “peaceful cottagecore” instead of “oops, another funeral for Basil #7”?Enter this Miracle-Gro Organic Outdoor Potting Mix.First of all, this stuff smells like it means business—not like something that’s been sitting in a forgotten shed since Y2K. It's dark, rich, and loamy, like it came straight from Mother Nature's personal compost bin.I dumped it into my containers with the grace of a raccoon on espresso and somehow...the tomatoes didn’t die. In fact, they’re thriving. Like, giving-me-side-eye-because-I-was-late-watering-them thriving. And the lavender? It’s not just alive—it smells like hope and redemption every time I walk by.Also, this mix has fertilizer that feeds the plants for two months. Which is perfect for people like me who forget what day it is, let alone that plants need nutrients. If you’re a fellow plant murderer looking to turn over a new leaf (pun aggressively intended), this potting mix is your new BFF. It didn’t just nourish my plants—it nourished my self-esteem. 🌿✨Five stars. Will absolutely buy again—assuming I don’t get cocky and try to plant an avocado tree next.

What i didn't know
This is good but it's not advertised properly it doesn't say it is manure. It's manure mix and straight poop in the bag . I put a few cups and add 2 gallons water in my bucket. Shake and mix and then it sprinklescovers the landscaping around the house for all my facility plants. it helps the plant are brighter and stronger. I sowed directly into this when i noticed it's strait manure & Just saying" organic". Everything you touch after that needs washing so buy something else if you want your basic clean surfaces in your gardening area. But all my seeds are sprouting so the Product itself is good just need clearer labeling

Miracle-Gro Organic
Other Miracle-Gro products I've used in the past have produced consistent results. This product is no different. Even though it says Organic on the bag, the plants seem well nourished. The response to the growth was immediate. The soil is nice and light. It has a good texture, consistency, and color. It soaks up the moisture well. It is comparatively priced with other products. It doesn't technically mention that this product is pet-safe on the package. However, because it is labeled organic, I am less likely to worry if my cats accidentally get into the pot and play in it if I am not looking. I would recommend this product to family and would purchase it again.

Great potting soul or for outdoor use.
You really need to use this right away as you don't want the dirt to dry out although you can just add some water to it. The problem with letting it stay in the bag too long it humidity cause you don't want mold in your dirt.

Interesting characteristics
Just a head's up that this stuff smells like straight up dookie. So when you water your plants you will make little sewer rivers draining from them that you might need to explain to your neighbors. If you touch it while it's wet, your hands will be stained with booty aroma for HOURS. Soap does nothing, I had to use bleach. It's very dense so keep that in mind when dealing with sensitive roots that might need looser soil. It's a deep brown to black color. Also, it started to mold while in the bag, and I had to leave it open to store it.

Wow!
Seed packets where the labels read that the seeds would sprout anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months cut that time in half planted in this organic soil. Since I started container planting (circumstances) the very end of May and didn't start anything indoors (cats), I was happy to see the seedlings pop up when the temps weren't too high yet. They are struggling, but I think most will make it. Time will tell. Oh, and everything has sprouted that's going to sprout except the beets, possibly. Wish I had a newer phone to include photo. My single Zucchini and the butter lettuce look great so far! Peppers and cherry tomato look very good. Still thinning.

Big Boost for My Outdoor Plants! 🌱
I’ve been using Miracle-Gro Outdoor Potting Mix for a few weeks now, and I can already see a big difference in my container plants. The mix is light and fluffy, which makes it easy to work with, and it holds moisture really well without becoming soggy. What stood out most is how quickly my flowers and vegetables took off—within days, I noticed new growth and healthier leaves. It also has a mild, earthy smell, not overly chemical or unpleasant like some other mixes. I love that it includes plant food, so I didn’t have to add anything extra right away.
