They are naturally antibacterial and biodegradable. Asian bamboo is highly sustainable and their trees can fully mature in less than 5 years. To use, simply place the bowl on a clean flat surface. Slightly press the bowl downward until you feel the suction pressure. Give it a slight tug from side to side to make sure the bowl is secure. To remove, pull the release tab on the base upward. The bowl will easily detach from the surface.
