Hit my First 180 for while after a few hours practicing with them , ive always used john lowe darts but couldn't justify the £100 price tag so went for these instead and its fair to say im more than happy with the purchase

If anyone is looking for a set of darts a little bit heavier and a little bit fatter than the usual straight barrel style, these may well suit you.Personally I have always favoured a shorter barrel anyway, and as I am back playing again after a few years away, I wanted something heavier. As you get older you need a heavier set - it does help rather like changing Golf Clubs for improvement or because you can't hit the ball as far as you used to.This shape of dart, always attributed to being a John Lowe style, is a favourite of so many players, myself now included. Harrows, a very well known company have made these in 85% Tungsten which I also prefer. In time these barrels will fade in shine but will become more stable in the hand due to it forming its own grip from the sweat pores of your hand. With anything higher than 85% this process takes longer.At 25 grams, this means that the barrel is slightly fatter, which again helps with accuracy. Some people wont understand this because they see so many top players using thin darts they naturally assume they are more accurate. To that I would draw their attention to Phil Taylor who uses probably the fattest barrels of any current top player.In short, these darts are classic in shape, feel good in the hand, and slightly heavier than what the majority of players use. I used to have some big brass Unicorn darts about 20 years ago and I just started playing darts again. 23g suits me fine and I went for the bombers because I am used to the shape and wanted something comfortable for my big fingers.The carry case is cheap and nasty but it is ok if your starting out. It does the job and its better than nothing.The stems are meh so I replaced them with some extra long aluminium ones.The flights are flights nothing special.They are darts you chuck them at the board and they stick in. The weight is right for me and I hit mostly what I aim at. They could be more grippy they could be a bit thicker so I cant give them 5 stars. They arent as chunky as old style darts and they arent as thin and long as modern darts seem to be. They are an inbetween and they seem to work for me.

I love this style of darts, short barrels so much easier to throw.

I have been hurting round for some original darts I used to use, I found these they are good but didn't have the same feelings as my original ones did which is why I had to send them back, they are a nice set though.

Great darts but did take quite a while to be delivered and no tracking number was supplied,Darts has improved my game though. Hit a 106 checkout the other night!

I'm sure evaluating darts is always somewhat subjective. I've really enjoyed these. The weight is forward and they punch into the board pretty hard relative to my other tungsten sets (all in the 21g to 25g range). They seem more forgiving of an imperfect release. Perhaps that's in part due to the "textured" flights, no idea. The shafts are good, but the metal will break if you robin-hood them. I bent one back twice, and the third time it snapped. Which seems reasonable on durability.

My first diddle was was perfect bullseye. ( luck of course). I love the thick barrel. Most darts seem to slip from my fat fingers. If you have that problem, these are worth a try. Weight is on your own. Great service and delivery. Buy with confidence.

Die Darts ansich sind erstklassig verarbeitet und in 25g gefühlt sehr sehr schwer. Das Setup allerdings nach 12 Würfen geschrottet. Die Flight Aluminium Tipps, die sich noch im Boart lustig weiter drehen, drei Mal Robin Hood und total verbogen. Da lobe ich mir die Carbon Supergrip Shafts von Harrows.

The darts are just like advertised. They feel solid and the connection is very good. Now I just have to figure out how to stop hitting 26s.
