Polaris 2014-25 Sportsman 450 570 2" Receiver Heavy Duty Bolt On Tow Hitch

This allows me to use a luggage rack with 2” receiver. With the original receiver still in tact, I can also pull a sled for ice fishing. Exactly what I wanted it for!

Very heavy and sturdy product. Fits my Sportsman 450 HO perfectly. It's nice to be able to use the factory receiver OR this Class III receiver which sits just about the factory receiver.

Purchased this for my Polaris Sportsman 570. It comes with the small hitch and although there were a few others out there I went with this one because it was rated the best. Easy to install in about 10 minutes or less if you have a socket and wrench set handy. Looks very sturdy and will enjoy not having to use adapters or small hitch assemblies all the time. I like how you can still use the small one if needed too.

I was really impressed with how heavy and strong this seems...it bolted right on to my 2019 Sportsman in about 15 minutes. The problem I had is that it bent up in about 15 minutes because there is not any vertical bracing to protect from vertical loads experienced when using some ATV implements. I really wanted this to work, but I have to return it. Pictures are after 15 minutes of use. Bent where the bare metal is visible because the paint chipped off when it bent. Was bent about 3x more when under load. Needs vertical reinforcement.

This item should be made of 1/4 plate vs 3/16. You can see the flex in it under very little load. It looks really nice and has good welds. However it doesn’t have enough welds. And it needs a gusset or two welded between the bottom of the receiver tube and the bottom foot that bolts to the factory frame. This would transfer the load directly to the factory receiver/frame and eliminate that flex. If the manufacturer makes these improvements it would be a 5 star item. Just figured a $70+ item would be more robust.

Nice hitch, had to use the stock nuts on the lower control arms the ones supplied were a different thread pitch.
