My Swisher mower is rugged. If I can drive my ATV over it, this thing my mower will cut it. If you use a brush cutter to cut heavy brush and small sapplings, you will need to replace blades and belts from time to time. Both the blades and belts are easy to replace. I have removed my current blades several times to sharpen and finally decided to put new blades on. I've replaced the belt many times, mostly in the field. It's an easy 10 mins to change the belt The nice thing about this Swisher mower is there are not many parts on them and they can all be replaced easily if they break or wear out.
