Removed my black hair dye
I’ve previously used hair colour remover products which damaged my hair and reoxidised back to darker Within hours so I steered clear of them until I found this product. I liked the fact it smelt lovely , was easy to apply without the need for buffering or rinsing for 5 mins etc as the others I had used required. My hair had a black hair colour on it and this lifted it to a nice reddish brown which I actually really like! No damage to hair at all, super pleased.

No damage hair care
I was skeptic so when buying this having used colour removers like Colour B4 that weren’t great and made you stink of egg for days. Well this was fabulous. It smelled absolutely fine, a little floral, and because it has a bond enforcer in there my hair felt very soft and very healthy after use.The results were okay, though because I was going from a Level 2 to a Level 7 I did need to use bleach. That is not a reflection on this product’s effectiveness however, just that I had a lot of buildup of black hair dye. When bleached, the bond enforcement did protect my hair and I had some but not a lot of breakage.Would highly recommend!

Really good !
Pulled out the black extremely well , knew I’d get hot roots but really surprised with how quick and effective it is and hair condition feels no differentDefinitely grab a 10vol developer to use - it tells you you need it once you open the box so to save anyone extra trouble get your developer the same timeIt’s says in the box you need the igora developer but I used a normal 10vol and had no issue

You should NOT add developer to this product!
Ok, so this stuff works, and it doesnt smell bad, or damage you hair... however, after reading the reviews, i bought a developer to go with it as apparently you need one- Wrong, i used a 1.9% 6 vol developer, which made my hair go from dark brown to orange! After checking on Chat GPT, you should NOT add developer to this product. Using developer with the Schwarzkopf SKP color remover is a common mistake — it’s designed to be used without developer. Developer actually activates lifting or coloring processes, which the SKP remover isn’t formulated for, causing the color to shift and leave an orange tone! You should only use a developer when toning your hair AFTER using the Color Remover! :) Hope this helps! Off i go now to buy a toner.....

Really good product but take care on damaged hair
I had some banding and stubborn colour build up on my ends and wanted to lighten it to better match my roots, so decided to give this a go as I love schwarzkopf products and didn't want my hair stinking like certain other removers. This isn't the same as those and so I'd be very careful using it on compromised hair. My hair was is terrible condition before hand, breaking off from near the root but I hadn't dyed it in months to give it a break, and while I don't feel this caused any further damage it was extremely drying and could definitely contribute to more breakage due to the fact. Do not skip your leave in conditioner afterwards! It lightened my hair by a couple of levels and wasn't brassy or anything, and handy having multiple uses in the pack. Will definitely use this again if needed.

Best colour stripper i’ve used
I was bright copper although i loved it the upkeep was to much having to brighten it every wk not for me. I decided to strip it out back to my more natural highlighted hair. was nervous as it defo is like a bleach bath but better as has conditioning effects in it. But my hair has been tortured so had to be careful condition wise didn’t want it falling out. I have mega thick hair thinking 1 box would be enough it wasn’t as you can only leave on for 20mins even tho i did leave it 30 i feel i took it off too soon it was a very pale peach 🍑 if i’d had another box i would have used that. To tone it i just put i really ashy blonde on it has grabbed which is fine as i know when i wash it a few times it will lighten. It’s just what i wanted and the condition of my hair is perfect plus there was no faffin about washing & rinsing for 10mins etc, just apply it then wash off when ready 💯 for me who is always chopping & changing hair colour 😊

Works well, but be cautious
The instructions say that it should be used by a professional. Which I am not, but after years of doing my own box dye, I thought I could do this. It really worked well, and removed a lot of colour. However, it seems that applying it is more of an art form than I appreciated. So I would thoroughly research how to apply this correctly before purchasing. Otherwise you could end up with entirely white roots, like I did.

Recommended for removing black box dye!
This is the third colour remover I’ve tried in my quest to get rid of my black box dye. I had already tried colour undo which only removed colour from the top inch of my roots (this confused me because I have only ever coloured my roots so there shouldn’t have been much overlap) I then tried the jobaz brand which did nothing at all. I tried did the first round of this a couple of days ago and it did slightly lighten the mid lengths and ends of my hair and my hair still felt very healthy so I’ve done another round of this tonight and the mid lengths and ends are a lot lighter! I did wrap my head in cling film and a towel this time round so I would definitely recommend doing that as it seems to have made a significant difference. I am going to do a third round the next time I was my hair as I don’t feel it’s had any negative effect on the health of my hair. Another noteful thing about this is that it is less faffy and time consuming than the other colour removers I’ve tried as there’s no need for the prolonged rinsing and buffering. It also doesn’t have any of the eggy smells that the other ones do. The one downside is that you do need 6 or 10 vol developer to use this so if you don’t have that lying around it is an extra expense. Definitely better than spending money on a product that doesn’t actually do anything tho! Very happy with the results. Thank you
