I did not buy this for lowering cholesterol. I bought it for weight loss and my under active thyroid. I can't take thyroid meds. They give me horrible anxiety, all medication does. Something to do with disrupting the gut flora.Anyway I bought this after reading about the benefits. I have taken it for a bit now. So far there is a decrease in appetite, acid reflux is gone, lost a little weight, anxiety is better and I am not craving food. My ADD is better too. Eating less has contributed to all of this I am sure. I even binged some on my birthday and feel no desire to do so today. Normally cheat days last a week. This is the first time in a few years I am not feeling motivated by food.The only down side that you might need to drink more water with this. I tend to get thirstier with it.So far put of all the supplements I have taken this is the only one that seems to not cause anxiety from messing with my stomach and has produced a noticeable effect. Most important is my ability to control my appetite. I am a little concerned with the potential to impact the liver. I already have NAFLD, maybe this will help with that too.
