These measuring spoons and cups are in metric units. In the US, the units are different. For example, 1 tablespoon in the US = 15mL, whereas the metric system uses 1 tablespoon = 20 mL. Same for all the units, for example 1 cup in the US = 240 mL, whereas in the metric system 1 cup = 250 mL. If you did not know, you were probably overestimating your ingredients using these spoons and cups. Other than that, the quality of the measuring set itself is great!

Love the quality and simple stack together design. Easy to clean, and I have used the larger one to slowly melt and infuse butter or oils. I liked them enough to gift a set too.

The US standard for a tablespoon is 15 ml. The tablespoon in this set is 20 ml. You will have to watch your measurements when using US recipes. Other than that, it's a decent set. Serves the purpose.

I decided to go from plastic to metal. These metal measuring cups and spoons did not disappoint. They are easy to clean, do not rust, and can easily be thrown in the dishwasher or hand cleaned. They are very sturdy and easy to stack making them easy to store. I like that they are shiny metal and don't look like they will tarnish. The only qualm I have is that I didn't buy a second set, which I will be remedying soon. :)
