Use the Samsung Filters!
I thought I would save a few bucks by buying off-brand filters for my Samsung refrigerator. Well, one of those filters failed and leaked all over my kitchen, living room, and down into my finished basement while I was out of town. Insurance covered a lot of the repair work, but it still cost me thousands of dollars. Additionally, it cost several hundred dollars to repair the refrigerator, which would have been covered if it had been a genuine Samsung filter.I now have water detectors installed in all areas where leaks are possible.

Removes the chlorine taste from the city water
Works as it should. Quick and easy to change. Filter quality is good as it's able to remove the taste of city water from my ice cubes. We only have to change them about every 6-months. But that is because we only have an ice maker in the fridge and not drinking water. It would probably have to be changed more often if we did.
