Really easy to use, effective, and looks smart
Installation took a bit of time (about 40 minutes) as I was trying to make sure it was really neat, but it was relatively straightforward, especially when following the video (although the English pronunciation in the video was questionable!). The finished product looks really neat, and blends into the window so you can hardly see it (I used white frame + grey mesh). I've had my window fully open in the middle of the night with the light on in my room, and still no bugs have come in! I live right next to water so there are a huge number of bugs in the area so being able to keep them out is a huge thing for me.I have previously used velcro-based bug screens but they always look very rough and end up ripping after a couple months of use. While this one is more expensive, I see no reason why it couldn't last for several years, it's high quality and the adhesive is very strong. Would definitely recommend!

2 in 1 Fly Screen and keeping kittens indoors!
I think this is marked as a fly screen, which this definitely does do and has been perfect for summers when they find their way in and just fly around the room, so that has not been an issue since! I also used this as a way to keep my kittens from kamikazeing out of the upstairs windows when they were still too young to be let out, but the windows had to be open due to the British 'Summer' :). It has been highly effective to be honest, even when they tried to push their lil heads through it, the magnetic seam sat on the inside and didn't budge. Though I do think if they tried now, it would more likely give as they are bigger and stronger, but as far as they are concerned, it is a solid furnishing and doesn't move! The set up is a tad fiddly, but is otherwise straight forward, be sure to measure your windows and the mesh before hand! I went for the grey option, as this to me seemed like it was more 'see through', then the white option as I live in a built up area (so lots of pavements, other houses etc!).

Nearly Perfect Solution for Pet Owners
I recently purchased the UtauHom Magnetic Fly Screen for my windows with a dual purpose in mind: to keep pesky insects out and prevent my adventurous cat from taking unsupervised leaps out of the window. The screen's high-density fiberglass mesh and its adjustable size feature, accommodating up to 59” x 71” (150 x 180cm), made it an appealing choice, promising both insect prevention and adaptability to various window sizes.Installation was a breeze, taking roughly 15 minutes after watching the provided installation video. The inclusion of back magnets for attachment to wood, iron, or aluminum window frames is a thoughtful design choice, facilitating a straightforward setup process without the need for heavy construction or tools. The package, complete with magnetic and PVC strips, mesh, accessories, and a clear instruction manual, offers everything needed for a hassle-free installation. Furthermore, the screen's durability and ease of cleaning, thanks to its high-quality materials and construction, are commendable features. However, my commendation comes with a caveat. While the product excels in most aspects, the strength of the magnets presents a minor setback, especially from the perspective of a pet owner. Although not specifically marketed for pet security, a slight enhancement in the magnetic strength would significantly amplify its value in this area. My cat, while not an exceptionally determined escape artist, could potentially challenge the hold of the screen, posing a risk of accidental escape or damage to the product. In essence, the UtauHom Magnetic Fly Screen stands out for its excellent design, ease of fitting, and effectiveness in preventing insect entry while allowing good air circulation. It represents a cost-effective and convenient solution for those looking to safeguard their homes against insects. Yet, for it to be a near-perfect solution for pet owners too, a minor improvement in the magnetic strength would be beneficial. This enhancement would not only secure the screen more firmly against the efforts of curious pets but also broaden its appeal and utility for a wider audience. Despite this small drawback, I find the product to be a worthy investment, offering substantial benefits for its price.

Works well, needs some effort to assemble
Can be a bit fiddly to assemble, as clipping the outer frame in needs a fair bit of force and can be hard on the thumbs. Otherwise not too hard to assemble, and looks good.I was initially worried I'd have issues as the window handle and trickle vent jut out a bit beyond the frame, but with a bit of leeway in the mesh its not really a problem even when closed.Looks like it should be more durable than the temporary velcro types I've used before, which tend to peel off after a few months, as the magnetic backing is wider and seems to stick well, but will have to see how well it holds up over time.

Air without the annoying flies!
This is a great product. I have used other types before, but this is far superior to any of those. As you can see from the photo, it is hardly visible, but it is very effective. In terms of installation, after I installed the first one, I became more au fait with the best way forward! I put the sticky metallic strip on first, then the magnetic strip. After cutting the mesh to fit the window, I clipped the top and bottom white covering strips on and then took the entire ‘frame’ off the window to attach the side pieces and the corners. Lots of people have said the corners are difficult to attach - and they are if you try to do it with the mesh frame in situ - removing it and placing it on a flat surface such as a table or even the floor, will allow you to clip and the white pieces on much more effectively. You can then slide the corners on easily, cutting the white strips if you need to.It took me about half an hour to do each window. There is plenty of mesh left over - it’s a shame you can’t buy the rest of the stuff separately as you could easily do more than one window, but there is not sufficient of the metallic or white plastic strip to do this.I would definitely recommend this to keep out those horrible flies and anything else you are not keen on sharing your house with!It is a little more expensive, but I think it is worth it to get a superior product.
