It is much more durable than the ones the army issued us. According to my calculations, it is accurate. It is a good value, and I would recommend it.

Just as described. Durable and easily readable. Seems like it will hold up to weather and field use. My military service was so long ago that we used a totally different system consisting of a 360 degree protractor and a 90 degree ruler to measure up and to the right. Would have appreciated a short instruction brochure, otherwise I’m happy with the service and the product.

This is a really great product!
I really like how accurate and easy to use this protractor is compared to the one I was issued. Having the back azimuths definitely helps whenever I'm having a brain fart. The only thing that knocks this is how easy it is to scratch. The last one of these got scratched to the point of being translucent rather than transparent, and my accuracy at finding points suffered a little bit. I was able to rememdy this by wrapping a ziploc bag in duct tape to prevent the bag from tearing and scratching the protractor. That works fine, and if it doesn't I'll probably buy another one of these just because they're so great to use.
