Very easy to install.A lot of the negative reviews seem to be about things in the app. The app isn't laid out the best but all the options are there, such as sensitivity, the alarm and night vision.Image quality is fantastic and no complaints with the night vision. Sound quality is good. We live in a really windy area and can hear voices clearly. My only gripe is that the doorbell isn't as loud as I would like it to be....I can hear it okay but I would appreciate it a lot louder....and like I said before with the app, it's got everything on it but it's not the easiest to navigate.Battery seems fine. In 2 weeks I've used 7% of the battery and it doesn't take long to charge.You need a micro SD card for saving clips (even to your phone) and for changing the sound of your doorbell. The device doesn't use up much space at all and you will be totally fine with a 16gb card and maybe even an 8gb.

Got this to replace a no brand one from this website. Got a really good price. You put a memory chip in the plug. The camera battery lasts ages. Great quality images and night vision. Easy to set up. Good connectivity, flawless- my old one hardly worked. I haven’t managed to have a 2 way conversation yet but incoming sound is good. Storage capacity is a memory chip so no issues there. Notifications are easy to manage, you can set up a trigger zone to stop it going off all the time.

Works very very well on my mums house to detect people coming and going. Wanted to be alerted if my dad went walkabouts in middle of night too.In that respect it works great. It catches and records everything.Really easy to setup (I already have eufy cameras at home so knew what to do).Can adjust detection zones to ignore people walking past their gate but triggered as soon as somebody enters the driveway.Negatives:1. High viz coats totally blur out the night vision.2. The doorbell doesn't go quite loud enough for elderly part deaf people. There's no reason for it to be so quiet on max volume but...it is. Had to position in lounge where they sit.All in all a decent budget camera with some minor quirks.App works fine once setup properly.Battery life OK. I fully charged doorbell overnight when fitted and 6 weeks on its at 59% battery with plenty of video recording.Update after 6 months:Device ran out of charge after maybe 4 months of me forgetting to recharge. You get a notification in the app that charge is low (maybe starts at about 15%).I charged from 0 to 100% overnight (I checked on the app whilst it was plugged in). Refitted the doorbell... then checked on the app after an hour and it was down to 75%. (?)I put it back on charge for another 3 hours... and the app said it was at 100%... so refitted. After 24hrs... its at 78%-I'm not sure I trust the accuracy of the battery levels

I got this on a whim as I had just moved and wanted to keep an eye on the front of the property so this seemed great and the big selling factor was being able to save and recall files stored locally at no extra cost.You get all you need in the kit (EXCLUDING a micro SD Card) including a handy mounting guide so you don't mess up the screw holes. Like others, I didn't use the supplied screws HOWEVER if you decide to use different screws, make sure they are the same head size otherwise the sync button will be depressed (physically, not mentally) when in the cradle.Overall, picture quality is great, night vision is ok and the motion detection will take some adjusting so you don't get alerts every time a empty bag of crisps floats past your door, but give it time and expect to recharge once or twice as you'll need to keep tweaking the settings.In hindsight, I would have got the 5 piece alarm kit and then the 2k add on doorbell (which I now have and returned this doorbell kit) as the plugin chime is pretty much redundant when you have the homebase 2. You can't, for instance, set up automation with anything to do with the doorbell when paired with the chime to anything else on the alarm system. I wanted to (once I installed the alarm kit) set it up so if motion was detected inside, the doorbell starts recording, but as mentioned, the doorbell works independently of the homebase if paired with the chime hence why I have retured it and got the 2k add on.All in all, it's good, wouldn't take much to yank it off and steal it though and there is very little in terms of anti theft devices out there and it is, in essence, a doorbell attached to a plastic back plate. With the supplied 15 degree wedge increases it's 'graspability' to even easier to steal, but hey, it's the risk we take in the world we live in.I would recommend this if you're;Not looking to add anything else from Eufy alarmsWant an easy to use app with free, locally saved files without additional costs to save recordings.
