EDIT 7/25/22 : Updated to 4 stars from 2...TL;DR: I found that when pressing the programming button on my Genie Garage Door Opener Motor box, there were two light patterns... I was able to maintain both Remotes working by programming one in the first programming button light, and the second remote by pressing two times in the programming button on the Garage Door Opener Motor Box before pressing the button on the remote to program it. 3 months later both work.Long story:I thought the reason the remotes were not working as expected was because I had too many remotes programmed and one of them was getting rewritten; I have a Garage door Pad with numbers, another Genie remote, and these two above... I erased all, I started with these remotes and still no luck...Then I found out there were two light patterns when pressing the program button in the Garage Door Motor Panel... If I pressed once, solid green light.. if I pressed twice, green light flickered and solid.. three times the green light goes away...Guess I tried the second light press, programmed the second remote, and ever since it works fine. I also programmed all of the other remotes I have in the first light.ONE STAR DEDUCT:I still deduct one star off the design because the plastic button is not very repeatable and I find myself pushing hard several times before the door opens. Otherwise, the remotes work perfectly.ORIGINAL REVIEW:For some reason if you don't use the remote, you lose it. Install is easy. Press the program button, press the button on remote. Done.I have reprogrammed both remotes twice, and for some reason the one I don't use loses its programming eventually.I guess even if one of them doesn't work right, it's cheaper than buying one remote from Genie.

These have worked great so far. They were very easy to program to my garage door unit(s). Have had zero issues so far.

We have an Overhead Door, Destiny 1200, garage door opener. No idea how old-it came with our house. Took a chance and ordered these. Literally took one minute to program! $12 for 2 when the company wanted $39 for 1! This is awesome……love it!

Personally, I love these. I have tried other kinds and these program VERY quick and I don’t have issues with them. The others, you have to push half your first knuckle into them and hold the button forever…which runs down the battery. These, quick click and it works!!

There is some lag when clicking the button and the garage door opening. Not too bad for what I paid I suppose.
