Happy with my purchase. Works well with filtering systems!

Ok so this is my first review. I received an email asking for a review and since I was happy with it; figured I should probably respond. I received it quickly and it was packaged well. Used it to regulate the pressure so that I don’t send too much pressure to my filters to clean my car. It was well made, quick to attach and did a great job on regulating my water pressure. Very happy with my purchase. On a side note; I would recommend this and a filtered water system to wash your car. I bought a Shelby two years ago. Bought it new, got it buffed out since the dealer washed it with unfiltered water and then ceramic coated. The filtered system removes the sediment which prevents the swirl marks created by washing sediment into your car. Plus you don’t have to dry your car since the water spots is caused by sediment being left behind. Two years later I have no swirl marks except for a small spot on rear when I accidentally let my PPM get to 7. Should have changed my filters sooner but lesson learned. Not to get off course but best investment I made. And this product helped me preserve that investment. Just wish I did that sooner to make sure I don’t send too much pressure to the filters. So yes I recommend this.

Accurate and Reliable Water Pressure Regulation for RVs

The Renator M11-0660R Water Pressure Regulator Valve is a must-have for any RV owner looking to accurately monitor and control water pressure. Made from brass and lead-free materials, this adjustable water pressure reducer with a gauge and an inlet screened filter ensures safe and optimal water pressure for your RV.This regulator is highly reliable and provides precise readings, which are crucial for maintaining the integrity of your RV's plumbing system. The adjustable feature allows you to set the pressure to your desired level, preventing potential damage from high water pressure.Spending the extra cash on this high-quality regulator is well worth it. The cheaper options simply don't compare in terms of accuracy and durability. For anyone serious about protecting their RV's water system, I highly recommend the Renator M11-0660R. 💧🚐🔧

A little more expensive but well worth the money if you're full timing

I have been using the preset, carded regulators for some time. I have had to change them out every couple of months, and that was stretching it because the flow would deteriorate over a very short time, and the static pressure would get outside of spec after just a couple of weeks. Not this one. It works better to start, and maintains flow just like new for much longer. Having the correct pressure and flow makes all my fixtures work very well.Only possible drawback is that in winter you have to have heat tape on it, which takes some ingenuity to make sure everything gets warm, and to wrap the tape with fiberglass and plastic. It seems to be holding out just fine in low double digit cold though.

Very well built regulator that works well

Great pressure regulator. Attaches quickly and works well to prevent pipe ruptures from overpressure. The only issue I found is if the connection faucet has an anti-siphon device or a debris screen on it, you cannot connect this valve with out removing them. The screen or anti-siphon device mechanism stick out of the bottom of the connect valve and will prevent the regulator from being connected.

US made the one year warranty.

This is actually the second purchase that I've made on Amazon of this item as the first one failed under a hard freeze (17F) last winter. I purchased it again because of its quality and value for the money. The gauge seems particularly accurate and overall the sickness of the casting brass casting is above par. With regards to the freezing incident, I failed to remember that ice can insert a pressure of 30,000 PSI so I can't fault this product with my oversight. Interestingly, this is a US made product that comes with a one year warranty and a US customer support phone number printed on the box

Works well if you add a Pressure Relief Valve

I have tried several of these Pressure Regulators and would still get occasional dangerous pressure spikes in the RV, like 80-100psi. I finally have a solution to ensure a certain pressure is never exceeded in the RV water system. If a Pressure Regulator fails or is inconsistent (poor quality or old and wearing out), then high pressure can result. Also, even if it is working correctly, none of these "Pressure Regulators" can relieve pressure on the RV water system when the water heater comes on, which causes expansion in the system and increased water pressure. If you have installed the Regulator at the spigot, then the garden hose can expand to help compensate for the increased pressure, but if you prefer the Regulator to be right at the RV water inlet area then the only water lines from it into the RV are the more-rigid-than-garden-hose plex or PVC lines. Those less flexible water lines in the RV don't expand well and so the pressure on the RV system can far exceed the recommended 45-50psi just from the water heater reheating 8 gallons of cold water after a shower is taken. In the attached 2 images you can see my green garden hose feeds the Pressure Regulator and gauge, which then feeds a brass Y valve. One leg of the Y feeds the RV water system and the other leg feeds a "Pressure Relief Valve" through a brass adapter. The Pressure Relief Valve feeds a clear vinyl drain hose that exits the RV compartment and is open to the ground. The Pressure Relief Valve is adjustable from 50-175 psi. I set mine at 50psi. When the RV's water heater comes on, or if the Pressure Regulator were to fail, then the Pressure Relief Valve opens at 50psi and lets water flow to the ground until the pressure drops below 50psi. After taking a shower, the water heater comes on and the pressure climbs... I have watched as the water begins trickling a small trickle down the drain tube when the pressure reaches 50psi, and then it quits trickling once the water heater finishes heating. I ordered the Pressure Relief Valve from Home Depot dot Com for about $30. It's Model# "1/2 LF530C". It has been working great. I hope this helps ya'll. Greg Porter.

Works as advertised.

Seems to work well. I haven't actually checked the pressure with another device but it's close enough I guess. Well made, easy to use. I would recommend.
