I bought this and showed it to my wife - she laughed when she saw it - "that's not going to work!". Well, I put it in the back of our refrigerator and after a couple of days I asked her if there were still food smells in the fridge. She went and checked and was very surprised - all the smells from food that was uncovered were gone. This thing just works. Fridge smells fresh again and appears to be of high quality construction. All you do is take it out of the package and put in in your fridge - doesn't get easier than that.

First off... I wanted to start by saying "I never write reviews!!!" This product is soooooo good, that I couldn't remain silent.I'm a clean freak! So my fridge never has things rotting in it and all the smelly stuff is placed in sealed containers/ziplock. The past few weeks I noticed a weird smell that continued to worsen throughout the days... I had no clue where the source of the smell from HELL came from??? I did a deep clean of the whole refrigerator! Inside and out!!! Even scrubbed that little drip catcher behind the fridge! Wiped and washed everything before placing it back. Bought new boxes of baking soda. Placed 2 in the top and 2 in the bottom. Mind you, I have a compact sized refrigerator. A week goes by and it's still bad! I had to dump my ice... butter... bread(it's normal here in Hawai'i to refrigerate bread)... That horrid smell permeated everything!!! I was pissed and desperate! I did a quick search on Amazon and this product caught my attention! From all the reviews, I was SOLD! Purchased only one not knowing what to expect? It arrived a day earlier than expected. So YAAAAY! I simply opened the box and placed it inside my fridge moving it from the bottom to the freezer after an hour each. The smell is almost undetectable!!! I have no clue what sorcery is going on... but whatever it is... I'M ELATED!!!! A plus... the product says it's good for TEN YEARS!!! Like wtf?!?!So... if you find yourself in a similar predicament... DON'T HESITATE!!! BUY NOW!!!!

I've been using the baking soda fridge box for my whole life. I bought a couple of these to try, one is freezer, one in the fridge. I can say it really works. No artificial scent. And it's small. I wasn't sure it would work. But it does. I had some leftover garlicy pizza - put it in the fridge and the nice morning expected to smell it. Nope. I was really surprised. I purchased a couple more for the garage fridge/freezer too. They are a bit overpriced. But. IF they work for 10+ years? Might be better with the price. We shall see. I have the stainless steel version. Small, so easy to place. I have found one works for the fridge and as I mentioned I put one in the freezer next to icemaker. So far so good! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I absolutely love this thing. I'm a really gross human and while I'm working on making the food in my fridge and not letting it go bad, this thing has had the herculean task of deodorizing my fridge. I just put it in there, it gets shuffled around, it can tip over and I don't have questionable white powder (looking at you, baking soda) everywhere. So far, I've had this for a few years and it's still plugging away.The design is nice and sleek and won't be confused for food products. The quality is good, it's metal and has not had any rust or anything. It just humbly works in the back of the fridge.I've just purchased another one for a friend who has an RV and I'm excited to see how well it does in that application too!

We’ve had this horrible smell in our rv frig even though we cleared everything out and wiped the whole frig cleaned. Even a brand new box of baking soda still didn’t get rid of the smell until we put this little device in. I don’t know how it did it but amazed that IT WORKS! May get another one for the home frig.

You know a product is working when all of the sudden you say to yourself after a week or so.....what happened to the smells. You forget you ever had a problem in the refrigerator. This works 100% better than baking soda. I am definitely going to order more to try in other areas of my home. I popped this in my refrigerator and could not believe the results. So easy to use and I love the look of it in the refrigerator. Buy it, you'll love it.

I prep vegetables such as jalapeños and onions. Of course I put them in containers. I was hoping this would keep the orders away. It doesn’t. I open my fridge and all I smell is onions. I gave it 3 stars only because it’s stainless steel. So disappointed because it is money wasted.

Works incredible! I don't know about 10 years-after about 5 months of use I noticed a few smells coming back but only from extremely strong scents (my family loves red onion- And I probably could have put it in a Pyrex container instead of a ziplock bag). But all that to say it's still incredible and gets rid of smells immediately until then.
