I bought these for Christmas this season and put them out in front of our new place. I like the different combinations for the light feature. Very bright and only take a few batteries. The only bad thing was, we had a lot of rain one day. The rain got in and ruined the batteries, replaced them and works fine. The plastic case is supposed to keep rain out, but we had a lot of rain for a day or two and ended up messing up the batteries. Would definitely recommend this purchase but be aware of the chance for water exposure

The media could not be loaded. Very bright, easy to attach. The wires inside are thin but strong enough, and covered with plastic tubing the size of a school pencil. This makes them pretty easy to wrap a bike frame or bike trailer with for parties or theme rides. I got the multi color 2 pack. The remotes have batteries and pull tabs to keep them fresh till use. There were some small zip ties in the box but I recommend scotch tape or trash bag ties for the cables and electrical tape or gorilla tape for the battery packs. I recommend taping the battery pack to the seatpost for easy access or putting them in an empty water bottle. You could use these on wheels but it may affect balance. Use strong zip ties to mount the boxes near the spoke crosses or they could fly off.

I loved the remote control on this product. I also loved the fact that there were 8 different color patterns I could choose from. I also liked the fact that these held up perfectly in the snow, the wind and the real bitter cold

The strong of lights is just what I was looking for. Fairy lights in a protective casing for outdoors. They are a soft color, and not super bright (just as I was hoping).I have to be 1ft or less away from the battery box for the remote to work, and then it's iffy. The tree is outside, about 6 ft from my kitchen window and I was hoping I could just open my window to turn on and off, but no. Literally, i have to put the remote right in front of the box pointing directly at it for it to work. It is just as easy to turn on and off at the box.It has been on 48 hrs straight (because of the stupid remote) and the batteries are still going...

The media could not be loaded. Just got these in yesterday! The idea was to provide some light for my daughter’s swing set. It did just that! These do not come with batteries and take 3 AA each. They do not tangle! Easy to wrap around and I used zip ties to secure them in place. They come with some small ties so I ordered some larger ones. They light up beautifully and have different settings. Functionality is easy! They are the perfect size! It comes with two remotes, one for each strand but just one remote controls both battery boxes. They look incredible and my daughter was so excited!!

I was expecting more from this product- like colour changing, more variety in colours but it's just your basic rope lights and not very bright even on the brightest setting with new batteries.I use battery lights during power outages, these were on sale and a quick ship.There's only 4 colours - red, blue, green and cream. You can't make the lights all one colour, and even on full brightness they weren't as bright as I expected them to be - they aren't particularly vibrant nor do they get bright. The remote worked for other functions, so I don't think that was the problem.I kept hitting higher for brightness and it never got really bright. The other functions seemed to work but the flashing is pretty fast (so I found it annoying).On the plus side, they are long so if you're not picky about colour saturation or the lights being super bright illumination wise, it's a decent deal.

These rope lights are well made, and do well in the weather. I was so impressed I bought a second pack. Using better batteries helps.

Great for walks and doesn't heat up to the touch. I like that it is battery powered and has different light sequences.
